MARVEL SNAP's Hot Location this weekend is Cloning Vats!
Cloning Vats is a great location for copying cheap cards that you want to play mutliple times, and it's also really good for card like The Collector, who gets more yoked every time the Vats add a card to your hand. It can also be used to get extra copies of key cards; for instance, Zoo will never pass up the opportunity to get another Ka-Zar or two.
However you choose to plan for the Hot Location, you'd better get used to it; being a Hot Location means that Cloning Vats will have a 60% chance to appear for 24 hours, from 8 PM PT Saturday night to 8 PM PT Sunday night (3 AM UTC Sunday to 3 AM UTC Monday).
When a card enters your hand from anywhere (except your deck), +1 Power.
Ongoing: Your 1-Cost Cards have +1 Power.
Hot Decks for Cloning Vats
We're not just going to give you some vague pointers about what cards you could run at Cloning Vats; how about some actual decks? We've got decks for players still pushing through Pool 1 or players rising up through Pool 2.
Ka-Zoo (Pool 1)
This is an all-weather Zoo deck that can win with or without the extra bump from Cloning Vats; but the reliability of the steady Zoo archetype can go over the top if it gets an extra copy of Ka-Zar or Blue Marvel. Or anything, really.
Slow Control (Pool 1+2)
Want to keep your opponent honest? Try chaining several Icemen (the only card from Pool 2, which admittedly could be replaced with something else) or Korgses to knock them off their game plan, then use mid-game control tools like Enchantress to shut down those Dinos - because, let's face it, there will be Dinos.
Dino Destroy (Pool 2)
This deck can abuse the Cloning Vats hot location by using it to gain multiple copies of The Collector or copy one of the pieces of the Nova/Carnage combo, then win with a big Devil Dinosaur thanks to all the cards you've got in hand.
Making Moves (Pool 2)
There are a lot of cards that a Move deck wants a few more copies of, specifically Move-enablers like Iron Fist and Doctor Strange. If the Vats get too cluttered, there's Carnage to clear things up.
What are Hot Locations in MARVEL SNAP?
There are two different types of location events in MARVEL SNAP.
- Sunday's Hot Location that have a 60% chance to appear for the next 24 hours.
- Wednesday's Featured Location that have a 40% chance to appear for the next 48 hours.
Unlike the Featured Location (which is always a new Location), Sunday's Hot Location will pull from the pool of existing Locations. Its increased appearance rate will shake up the meta for a day - for example, Odin was the finisher of choice for many players when Kamar-Taj was the Hot Location.

Yondu and Korg in the same deck arent exactly the best combo. You often end up discarding the Rock, if you play Korg before Yondu. I guess you simply want to have something to play early on and start disrupting, but you can also draw Rock with Cable ... when I ran a deck like that, i removed Korg cause it often screwed me more than my opponent.
