MARVEL SNAP's Hot Location this weekend is Washington D.C.!

Washington D.C. is the perfect place for all those No Ability cards to get a chance to shine; as Dean Martin once said, if they can make it there, they can make it anywhere. And who better to synergize with his nation's capital than Patriot? Another option is to make your own No Ability cards with Zero and, if they're all Ongoing cards, Enchantress.

However you choose to plan for the Hot Location, you'd better get used to it; being a Hot Location means that Washington D.C. will have a 60% chance to appear for 24 hours, from 7 PM PT Saturday night to 7 PM PT Sunday night (2 AM UTC Sunday to 2 AM UTC Monday).

Ongoing: Your cards with no abilities have +2 Power. On Reveal: Remove the abilities on the next card you play.

Hot Decks for Washington D.C.

If you're looking for ideas of what decks you can play to the Hot Location, we've got you covered: with recommended decks for players just starting out in Series 1, players still moving up through Series 2, and players who are starting to fill their collections with cards from Series 3, 4, and 5.

Series 1 Tiger Zoo

The two cards who are probably the best in Series 1 for Washington D.C. are Squirrel Girl and White Tiger, both of whom summon cards that have no abilities. This Zoo deck is built to fill a location, so you can guarantee your late game Tigers go directly to Washington D.C.

Series 2 Dino Destroy

In Series 2, you get Bucky Barnes who, when he dies, leaves behind the large and ability-less Winter Soldier. This Series 2 Destroy deck also runs Squirrel Girl and Mister Sinister to gain advantage from the hot lcoation, or feed Carnage.

Series 3 Ultron Patriot

Patriot is very close to being a featured card with this location, and this Patriot deck can fill Washington D.C. with a variety of No Ability cards, then buff them up with Patriot and Mystique.

Series 3 Patriot Surfer

Because it's kind of Patriot's day, we're featuring another Patriot deck; one that requires a touch more finesse but is just as adept at getting value out of the hot location. Patriot Surfer is slightly worse with the change to Silver Surfer, but the hot location might be able to make up for that by boosting the Power of the Broodlings.

Series 3 Zero Dracula

This Build-Your-Own-No-Ability deck comes to us thanks to Zero and Enchantress (who, coincidentally, can work as a countermeasure for all those Patriot decks) removing your card's text and turning them into big bodies in Washington D.C. Isolating something big for Dracula to discard won't take an act of Congress, because we've got The West Wing.

What are Hot Locations in MARVEL SNAP?

There are two different types of location events in MARVEL SNAP.

• Sunday's Hot Location that have a 60% chance to appear for the next 24 hours.
• Wednesday's Featured Location that have a 40% chance to appear for the next 48 hours.

Unlike the Featured Location (which is always a new Location), Sunday's Hot Location will pull from the pool of existing Locations. Its increased appearance rate will shake up the meta for a day - for example, Odin was the finisher of choice for many players when Kamar-Taj was the Hot Location.
