The Angry Chicken has been a podcast staple in the Hearthstone community since its arrival in late 2013, and tonight, they will be hosting its final episode. The news was announced during last week's episode, #505, and was later mentioned on Twitter by Jocelyn.

This show and community has been such a huge part of my life for literally a decade.
Hearthstone itself is in a great place right now, and I really do wish I could have kept things going forever, but life has other plans.
Big thanks to @RidiculousHat for helping me keep the lights on around here for as long as we did. His enthusiasm for the game is unmatched.
You'll be able to find me (if you want to) on @TheGamersInn, though I'll be taking some time off that too.
Hat will still be making content so go follow him (though I'm sure you already are).

On the podcast, Jocelyn stated she made the "very difficult decision" to end the podcast due to the fun that is life. The original plan was to keep recording up until the fall, but with a baby is on the way and a big move ahead, we can't say we disagree with that decision. Ridiculous Hat, podcast extraordinaire, went on to state that the two of them had difficulty maintaining the broadcast schedule, sometimes recording offline, and they aren't currently at the level to give everyone the content that is expected.
Garrett Weinzierl, the original creator of The Angry Chicken, left the podcast last August after a teary-eyed episode #476 and will be coming back to join the crew for the final show.

But really glad to hear that Ridiculous Hat is joining the HS team as a community manager. Really glad for all of them moving on in life.
A Hearthstone podcast staple indeed. The Angry Chicken was my entry point for listening to podcasts and I have followed Jocelyn and Garrett for almost the entire running of TAC. They have incredible chemistry and the episode where Garrett announced his departure, even I shed a few tears. Always sad to see such amazing quality content come to an end, but hey that is life indeed, so true.
