Blizzard Has Now Banned Over 1.5 Million Hearthstone Accounts This Year

More bots are banned! Blizzard has issued a statement on the status of bots in Hearthstone and have confirmed an additional 261k account actions since the update last month. That brings us to a total of 1.57 million accounts actioned this year. That's a whole lotta accounts!

Have you noticed a reduction in bots? Blizzard says the most recent patch has also introduced changes to help combat bots on a "more regular, proactive basis", so it would be interesting to know if you feel it's been working.

Quote From Blizzard

Since last month’s update, we’ve actioned over 261k additional accounts for botting. In Patch 29.6, we also introduced system changes to combat bots and other exploitive gameplay patterns on a more regular, proactive basis.
