It's no secret that HSReplay.net plays a big part in Hearthstone's landscape, but this week they doubled down on their commitment to the community. Just days ago, the stats website announced long-term sponsorships with many community favorite streamers among other announcements. Let's dive into the news.
Strengthening Ties with Content Creators
In a recent update titled "A New Chapter for HSReplay.net", the Hearthstone Deck Tracker developers acknowledge the vital role content creators play in the Hearthstone ecosystem. Following that statement, they announced partnerships with more than a dozen top streamers.
From Constructed legends like Thijs and NoHandsGamer, to Battlegrounds giants like Dog and RDU, HSReplay.net is expanding its creator network across all game modes. Yes, even Arena and Wild.
Sponsored Streamers list: Dog, RDU, Jeef, Thijs, SuperJJ, ShadyBunny, DaneHearth, RegisKillbin, Asmodai, Zorgo, NoHandsGamer, RedBeard, Zeddy, DoseOfCoffee, iNS4NE, Warshack, ClarkHellscream, Kris O Five and MartianBuu.
You've probably seen some of these announcements on social media, if you were able to dodge the avalanche of complaints about the meta. Reading through those posts, we find a common thread: HSReplay.net will be working more closely with creators to continue improving the Hearthstone Deck Tracker and their website to cater to player needs.
Quote From ZeddyHS I'm excited to announce that I'm partnering with @HSReplayNet!
I've been using their deck tracker since 2015, and a premium user since 2018, so I'm super excited to collaborate with them and continue to improve the best deck tracker out there!
HSReplay.net plans for a "New Chapter"
To understand what HSReplay.net is aspiring for, we need to look back and see what they've been doing. Less than a year ago, they started collaborating with Jeef to enhance their already powerful Battleground stats with Pro-Player Guides.
We reached out to HSReplay.net and they confirmed that this project has been really well received by players, and shared a couple of quotes they received:
“I really enjoy the program. The ability to see cards ahead for each tier is fantastic. The new comp options and the inclusion of Jeef to the team is phenomenal in how I play. Thank you.”
“I just wanted to say that I am really impressed with this collaboration that you're doing with Jeef. I was worried that his advice wouldn't be getting frequent updates, but you are nailing it. Well done to both of you!”
On top of that, the pace at which the Hearthstone Deck Tracker is being updated has increased substantially, to the point that it now usually includes overlay indicators for new cards and interactions the very same day expansions go live!
In the announcement posted, the HSReplay.net team shared some of the major features they released recently, not limited to Jeef’s collaboration:
- Composition and Hero Guides for Battlegrounds
- Inspiration Tool to find game-winning comps
- Dozens of Counters to provide relevant information at a glance
- Related Cards, Tooltips and Card Synergy Highlights
According to HSReplay.net’s founder and CEO, Andrew Wilson, this is a direct result of their increased investment in their Hearthstone team:
"We’ve added several new developers to the Hearthstone team in the last few months, and we will have several more new developers joining it soon. With all this new bandwidth, we’re excited about the aggressive roadmap of new functionality we have planned." - Andrew Wilson, HSReplay.net Founder & CEO
Looking into the future, and adding to these fast-paced updates, the announcement unveiled that the Hearthstone Deck Tracker would soon provide more support to Arena players. Not many details were shared here, but we can imagine from their already existing website stats that Hero Pick and Draft assistance might be a part of it.
With the long-awaited Arena revamp on Blizzard’s schedule, and many top Arena players, such as RedBeard and Dose Of Coffee, now partnered with HSReplay.net, we know this is going to be an interesting time for Draft mode lovers.
For those who have been playing Hearthstone for over a decade, seeing the game back in China, an imminent major overhaul of Arena, and increased investments from third parties like HSReplay.net, Hearthstone’s future is looking as bright as ever. The announcement even made reference to Frodan’s often-memed tweet back in 2020.
Quote From Frodan Still in shock after hearing what's planned for @PlayHearthstone 2020. The developers remain as passionate as ever. They haven't given up on the game. Not even close.
If they can execute, this will cement Hearthstone for the next decade. For new, returning, and veteran players.
Whatever the future holds for Hearthstone, you can definitely expect HSReplay.net to continue to play a big part in it.
