Hearthstone's Becoming More Accessible - Introducing Trial Cards

Blizzard has announced a massive new addition to Hearthstone: Trial Cards.

2026's Cataclysm expansion is introducing a brand new concept, Trial Cards, starting on March 10, one week before Cataclysm releases. All players will have access to "two-thirds" of all the cards in Standard format, for free. These aren't unlocked on your account forever, just usable during the period at which the cards are available in the trial, which is going to be the entire Cataclysm expansion cycle.

Cards from Into the Emerald Dream and The Lost City of Un'Goro will be added to everyone's collections where you don't currently own them, even the gold ones.

If you have completed the achievement, Only Missing A Few (Emerald Dream), Blizzard is giving you a free Ysera, Emerald Aspect signature art card.

Likewise, if you have completed Only Missing A Few (Lost City), you will receive a free Endbringer Umbra signature art card.

How do you feel about Trial Cards? For returning players, are you excited to dive back into Hearthstone with a more accessible collection? Let us know in the comments below.
