May 11th Hearthstone Hotfixes Bring Big Battlegrounds Balance - Full 35.4.1 Notes

A Hearthstone new hotfix patch is rolling out on May 11th (so... today), mostly focusing on bug fixes and Battlegrounds balance changes. This is a server-side patch, so no need to download anything. You can see the full notes down below.

Patch 35.4.1 is a server-side hotfix patch, rolling out Monday, May 11. Please find the details below.

Bug Fixes and Game Improvements

Battlegrounds

• Mister Clocksworth should no longer be offered Designer Eyepatch as a Greater Trinket.

• Cowrie Necklace now correctly reduces the cost of Wave of Gold.

• Fish of N’Zoth will now properly trigger Ship Master Eudora’s copied Deathrattle.

• Jewelry Box now grants the correct number of Blood Gems after the first turn.

• Marin the Manager will no longer lose access to an additional Lesser Trinket selection when Orb of the Unknown results in Mystery Cube.

• Void Pup Trainer’s Golden bonus text display has been corrected.

• Souvenir Stand will no longer transform into a redundant copy of Designer Eyepatch.

Hearthstone

• Tyrande’s effect now counts only the Dragon Soul essence you actually played, instead of treating adjacent essences as a single card.

• Upgrading animal companions beyond 10 no longer displays incorrectly or resets back to 1.

• Convalescence no longer creates Silver Hand Recruits with Divine Shield that can’t be silenced.

• The Arcanomicon no longer triggers Discover-related effects like Rangari Scout or The Origin Stone.

Arena

• Treasure Hunter Eudora now properly completes her Sidequest (Eudora’s Treasure Hunt) and awards the reward in Arena.

• Discover pools will once again include Wild cards as intended.

Battlegrounds Balance Changes

• Staff of the Scourge has returned to the pool.

• Demonic Tapestry: After you Refresh 4 times, the highest-Tier minion in the Tavern costs Health instead of Gold to buy. (was Refresh 3 times)

• Bubble Crown: Once you cast 10 spells, your Tavern spells give an extra +4/+4. (was +5/+5)

• Lucky Tabby costs 4 (was 3)

• Ophidian Staff costs 3 (was 2)

• Sacrificial Altar costs 1 (was 0)

• Cursed Crystal costs 3 (was 2)

• Rewinder Portrait costs 3 (was 2)

• Splinter of Aurum costs 3 (was 2)
