After a series of shorts released by the Hearthstone team, we've gotten the official trailer and name for the second expansion of the year, Escape from Violet Hold. Contrary to the leak, the trailer claims that the set releases on July 7 instead of July 19, but I would assume the other information is accurate given that it nails the theme.
Other than what we can surmise from the trailer of course.
The trailer stars Vanessa VanCleef (you know, the daughter of Edwin) locked up in Violet Hold. Predictably, Maiev makes an appearance in the trailer and will almost assuredly get a new card. A little more surprising is Lord Godfrey's appearance.
We don't know any new cards yet since the reveals for that happen in about three and a half hours from now. Until then, what do you suppose we will see in the set? Let us know in the comments below.
