  • Unshackled Soul, Enthralled Shade & Mind Sweeper - Ah yes, the support cards to make Azalina less awful. Unfortunately, less really is the word here, I remain convinced it wont work. Its too clunky, and hinges on priest playing on tempo, which it has thus far failed to do despite the good collection of cards gained in Across the Timeways. At least these are not bad cards, its just trapped in a class that has the unique quality to split the fanbase. Its either really good and toxic, or its really bad and forgotten. No inbetweens since Uldum I think, and Azalina priest isnt gonna be doing that anytime soon.

Crowd Control & Scrappy Defender - Good cards for a bad deck probably, because what is intended is the payoff for running hogger, with an overinflated deck size from the get go. But the problem is that youre running half a deck of legends, and youre gonna get destroyed by aggro and any value deck currently available. And no, youre not gonna play this in a standard non-hogger deck praying to mulligan for scramble for gear.

Hold Them Off - Might see unironic play actually. In a control priest deck, youre floating mana so often you can easily just make this cost really cheap and paired with a rush minion for insane lifesteal comeback.

Holy Embrace - Better than flash heal most of the time. And that alone makes this card playable.

Rampaging Hound - I honestly think this card can be good assuming control warrior is playable. Control floats so much mana in the early game that this is easily at minimum a 4 mana card, and it gains you board control.

Ancient Augur - You cant go into an expansion without unpleasant cards being printed like this. Whats particularly galling is that the opponent can discover what card to discard, so you might as well wave goodbye to your win con. Assuming of course, that warlock is even remotely playable in standard.

Annihilation - Honestly, this card is good enough that you might actually build around it. Shame that it costs 9 mana, but its a rare AoE in this meta that does a board swing, and judging by cards like imp gang stooge, theres every chance you're fetching massive bodies with keywords like taunt in it.
