The announcement of Violet Hold's theorycraft event and other community events has arrived!

• Theorycraft Streams begin on June 25 and run until June 29.

  • Twitch drops will only be available from June 25 until June 26. You can earn 2 Escape From Violet Hold packs.

  • Theorycasting will take place on the official Hearthstone channel on Twitch.

• Pre-release Tavern Brawl begins June 30 and runs until July 7.

  • First entry is free. Each entry after will cost 2 Tavern Tickets, 300 Gold, or 400 Runestones.

• Community Days takes place June 30 and runs until July 4.

  • You can earn a total of 8 card packs, 2 packs per day.

  • 1 Into the Emerald Dream and 1 Lost City of Un'Goro pack are given out each day.

If you think you know Theorycrafting... think again! This time our Theorycrafters have an added mission: catch the runaways! In addition to regular play, Theorycrafting participants in NA, LATAM, and EMEA will work together to capture all 11 Rulebreakers (played by our Dev Team) by defeating them in battle! If all Rulebreakers are defeated, participants will earn extra codes for their communities to be redeemed during Community Days.

Join your favorite content creators as they take their first steps into Escape from Violet Hold and theorycraft the new expansion. Featured players will be streaming their participation on their own personal streams, so make sure you’re following your favorite creators when they go live!

• NA/LATAM/EMEA players will play on June 25, 9:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m. (PDT)

• APAC players will play on June 26, 2:00 a.m. - 8:00 a.m. (PDT)

• CN players will play on June 28, 4:00 p.m. - June 29, 8:00 a.m. PDT

All participants need to include at least 10 Escape from Violet Hold cards in their decks (that can be 10 individual cards, 5 duplicates, or anything in between). Don’t worry, our Rulebreakers will play with these guidelines too!

Twitch Drops will be enabled category-wide from June 25, 9:00 a.m. to June 26, 8:00 a.m. (PDT), so you can watch any Hearthstone stream you’d like to earn up to 2 Escape from Violet Hold packs (make sure you link your Twitch and Battle.net accounts so that your viewing time counts towards the drops). On top of that, participating streams will have Pre-Purchase Mega Bundle codes to give away to their audiences during the event!

TheoryCasting

Ready for the breakout? Your favorite casters will be returning for their Theorycasting stream on the official Hearthstone Twitch channel. Nothing slips past this crew; every play, every misstep, every close call. They’ll be there to call it live as the chaos unfolds beyond the walls of Violet Hold.

• Sottle, Lorinda, Edelweiss, and Raven will return to Theorycasting on June 25, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (PDT)

Pre-Release Tavern Brawl from June 30-July 7

Jump into Escape from Violet Hold early with our Pre-Release Tavern Brawl, now with a new format!

• Build decks using only cards from Escape from Violet Hold. No class or rune restrictions!

  • Card Generation Pool: Escape from Violet Hold, Standard

• Everyone starts with free trial copies of all Escape from Violet Hold Common cards*

* Access to the Escape from Violet Hold trial cards is temporary and limited to the Pre-Release Tavern Brawl, which starts June 30 at 10:00 a.m. PDT when Patch 36.0 goes live and ends on July 7 at 10:00 a.m. PDT when the expansion launches, after which they are removed.

All players will get one entry into the Pre-Release Tavern Brawl for free. After that, each entry will cost 2 Tavern Tickets, 300 Gold, or 400 Runestones. On each run, lock in a deck and play until you get either 6 wins or 3 losses and earn more new cards based on how well you do!

Community Days June 30 - July 4

Tune into any Hearthstone stream on Twitch during Community Days to earn up to 8 packs (4 from The Lost City of Un'Goro and 4 from Into the Emerald Dream expansion) and turn your favorite Trial decks into the real thing!

From June 30, 10:00 a.m. (PDT) to July 4, 10:00 a.m. (PDT), you can get up to 8 packs just for watching any Hearthstone stream (2 hours per drop)!

• 2nd Drop: 1 Into the Emerald Dream and 1 Lost City of Un'Goro pack
