Tavern Pass Question....when best to buy?

Hearthstone says that "Purchasing the Tavern Pass at any point during the expansion will immediately grant the Golden Silas Darkmoon Legendary card, a 10% XP Boost that lasts for the duration of the expansion, and all items up to your current level on the free track"  Does this mean that it is best to purchase Tavern Pass after reaching level 50 to get all the stuff a second time?  If so, this may be a very good deal.

  • The whole "all items up to your current level on the free track" part I'm fairly certain would only apply to the paid track and if it isn't, it is a fairly large oversight. 

  • The best will be at the start too max out the usage of the XP Boost. You won't get stuff a second time, it just that the wording could be more clear. Echo is right.
