Hearthstone - Omnislash Update

Omnislash has been around for several years creating content for Hearthstone with streamers like Kibler, Firebat, and Zalae, among others, but they've decided to shift gears.

To better focus our efforts, we are transitioning away from content creation and streamer representation, and will be committing all of our efforts to a data platform for players of all types.

For now they are going to be focusing on data tools for gamers/streamers. It's sad to see them go, but I'm interested to see what they create for us.

  • Yeah I agree, some series were really cool and fun to watch (Deck Doctor, This Week at Omni, Omnistone, random collabs,...).

    Too bad, even more because the personalities were top notch, but we'll see how things will develop

  • Excuse me, but what is a data platform actually? Do they just collect and analyze data and then share it to us? or sth else?

    • If I had to guess I would say they are going to focus all their efforts on the Omnislash Game Companion for Hearthstone. With terms like "Omnislash Resource Impact" and a line graph like an EKG readout, it looks fairly complex and directed at high-end players. The app is currently in beta and should still go through quite a few changes before launch. If you're serious about Hearthstone you might want to keep an eye on it.
