Hearthstone

It's a weird meta right now. So many decks with mulligan specific win scenarios. It is almost pointless taking part. There should be a button where the people with those decks can just have imaginary opponents. Especially murlocs and treants - they empty their hands by turn 3 having successfully randomly drawn their combo, and then draw into the next. My side of the board is pointless/meaningless.

Since the latest patch I can't play Hearthstone caused by Playful Sprites. I did all the tips Blizzard posted on their forum, but after a long search I found out that there is a certificateproblem with my Samsung A70( other users have it as well). Is anyone else experiencing this problem?

I am not a developer but this issue takes more than a month, is this common with certificate problems?

As we all know, Shaman is not in a strong spot right now. Thrall simply can't keep up with Illidan's early-game tempo, or Valeera's value. However, I feel like Shaman has the tools to fight for a spot in the meta anyway. Besides Totem Shaman and Evolve Shaman, which already have a small (but unimpressive) role in the meta, I feel like there is room for a third Shaman deck, based around two few specific, very powerful cards: Squallhunter and Serpentshrine Portal. These cards give you so much extra burst to finish out games when combined with each other or with cards like Lightning Bolt and Lava Burst, which your opponents won't see coming.

So, which of these decks do you like more? Do you have another idea to build a tempo shaman build? Or do you think this idea is doomed from the start?

So, I played against a rogue, who had a 3mana minion and a secret up- either Bamboozle or Ambush- so I played Siamat with Rush and Divine Shield. Would take care of it either way, while clearing the small minion. So Siamat attacked the small minion, and it bamboozled into [Hearthstone Card (Imprisoned Antaen) Not Found]. Siamat should have had enough attack to take him out, but instead Siamat only lost his divine shield, while not actually damaging the Antaen - which makes Imprisoned minions immune to damage, but able to defend themselves.

Just a questionable interaction that I wanted you to tell about.

So with the first month of the ranked update coming to a close I've been wondering about the following.

I haven't played much Hearthstone this month, partially due to the Demon Hunter terror and partially because of the amount of (updates for other) games being released. First world problems, I know.

I only yesterday got to diamond in standard, and likely won't even get that far in wild this month. 

What I'm wondering is if the star multipliers are based on the rank that you achieved the previous month or your hidden MMR? The Hearthstone article indicates the former. In which case, if I don't play for a full month, does that mean I won't have any star multipliers to go with (other than the win streak ones), all the while facing diamond-tier players? 

Because that climb seems way tougher than what we previously had and kind of forces you to get a decent rank every month, if that is your monthly goal.

From what I gathered from the Hearthstone ranked article this does seem to be the case, but some additional insight would be much appreciated.

This week we're taking a leaf out of Rafaam's book this week and messing with our opponent's deck!

• You must create a card which interacts with your opponent's deck in some way
  • Some existing examples include Void Contract, Weasel Tunneler, Bad Luck Albatross, Deathlord, Mischief Maker, King Togwaggle and Gnomeferatu.

Cards which simply force the opponent to draw, like Coldlight Oracle, do not count.

Devizz wants us to mess around with the opponent's deck this week in any way you can think of!

Just got the best Arena rewards i've ever had. Thought i'd share. GL HF :)  

I'm finding that tempo is so important in the current meta, unless I have something like Dwarven Sharpshooter for board control, I very rarely use my hero power early in the game.

I climbed to diamond 3 with highlander mage and was about to hit 2 but now im back down to 1 after having 4 demon hunters in a row that I went 1-3 against because the aggro version is very favored against highlander mage. What's a deck that can counter them besides egg warrior?

I just climbed with a murloc deck from Platin 9 to Diamond 10 and encountered several Demon Hunters who just played badly. About two-thirds of them didn't read the card texts, and cleared Murloc Warleaders or Grimscale Oracles last, after taking unnecessary amounts of damage and losing minions to the extra +2 or +1 attack. One even played [Hearthstone Card (Warglaives of Azzinoth) Not Found] and cleared 4 murlocs, the Murloc Warleader last!

This made me wondering, how the Match making is done. Is the upper end of Platin still very low skilllevel, or is skilllevel just an euphemism for winrate? So instead of some weigthening algorithm, that evaluates how the player compares against decks of the same strength, MMR is just done by deck strength alone? Does anyone know more about the new MMR, and how strong decks play a role in this?

I need your help. Today i played ladder a bit (I am silver 3 right now) and i am kind of tilted after a few games. First: This is no salt thread, I really need some help. I play HS for quite a while now and started to "main" Shaman, because its the most flexible class (in my oppinion).

So after a few "Dragon quest Highlander" games today I faced only 3 decks: Face Hunter, Demon Hunter (Aggroversion) and Galakrond Rogue.

I have no problems with these Rogues, most of the time I just out-value them with my HP. But... I have a hard time versus those (Demon) Hunters. They have soooo much value with just 2 or 3 mana, that they outtempo me since the first or second round. And everytime it seems like I have a Comeback, I am at 15 HP (or less) and they can give me everything face without worrying.

Now my question: What is the best deck versus those classes? (Without joining them....)

I just think of changing to Totem Shaman again, but they will clear them very quickly.

Greetings there! I'm here to present you my version of how I would change Paladins's Core Sets. I'm jumping the bandwagon a bit with the changes after seeing some other people trying their reworks and generally accepting classes may need some updates.

This time, I've put crossfire onto Paladin. You thought enough clases got facelifts from me? Well, you are wrong. Maybe I should start making an enitre rework of Core sets and release them as an expansion on Hearthcards Class Creator section?

I've been working on making a control paladin deck in wild. I have decent deck in theory and am working to craft the cards for it. My question is which ones should I craft first or not at all? And are there any better options.

When Blizzard decided to roll our Demon Hunter, I think we can all agree on the fact that they may not have thought things through well enough.  One thing that  have a thought on is Genn Greymane's interaction with the deck.  The benefit of running this minion in your deck is that it lowers that cost of your Hero Power at the cost of restricting the cards that you put in your deck.  However, with Demon Hunter, the standard Hero Power is already 1 less than every other Hero Power. 

What I am curious is how other people feel about what I would like to see.  Instead of making your Hero Power cost (1), having an Even Deck with Genn Greymane would be errata'd to state, "Your Hero Power costs (1) less".  Doing this would have no impact on the game with other classes, but would make playing an Even Demon Hunter a possibility. 

With Raza the Chained, we have all seen what can happen with a (0) cost Hero Power.  However with that deck you are forced to play Highlander to get the benefit, whereas Even Demon Hunter doesn't have a card that would reset the Hero Power like Shadowreaper Anduin.  

I am curious to see what other people feel the potential impact to the Wild game would/could be if this errata were to take place?  Personally, I love to play the game for the entertainment.  I'm not a league player and I'm a far cry from being pro.  But playing fun decks that change the way the game is played is entertaining to me.  What are everyone else's thoughts?

I'm playing wild, how could any deck not be valid for wild?

Earlier I was trying to play one of the warrior decks of mine I hadn't played in a wild. Something wacky happened and it totally emptied my deck of all of its cards until I gave in to it wanting me to auto fill the deck. I did that, removed the random trash cards & recompleted my actual deck, but now the title message pops up when I try to play the deck in wild.

Anyone know what gives?

So for the first time in 5 years I decided to switch to another server. But after completing the training mode and unlocking all the heroes (even demon hunter) I tried to make some wild cards but I could't craft any. The game didn't let me choose any wild set to craft cards from.

Do I have to reach level 20 with all classes? Or worse, do I havo to complete the rookie's ladder?

Sometimes in the Deep Sea things sink to depths and are left there until they're drawn again and cast automatically.

Ozumat slumbers and you can awaken him. By logging to hearthstone and receiving him for free before the Expansion launches.

Playing Arena and listening to Kibler on my browser. it's been well over 2 hours now and no pack. I'm certain I'm linked up- it says my exact name and region in the settings. Is it able to tell that I'm not watching it...?

It's rare when one of my homebrews takes off so well. Easy climb to diamond and I'm looking forward to going higher. Not only does this deck overwhelm everything out there but it is an amazingly fun ride- there are several win conditions and you never know which one will seal the deal.

Still needs a little fine-tuning so feel free to give any suggestions, but definitely treat yourself to a couple games of it.

I have been banned on that site around 8 times. You might guess that it would seem that I must be a toxic poster (to be honest when I was new there a couple times I truly was..) but take into consideration my last ban: "trolling" for starting a thread named, "Nozdormu is racist against mobile players" which was a serious post on how Nozzy is oppressive to the playerbase that are playing on phones. The use of racist was just good ol tongue in cheek humor. Well, xskarma slams me again with a ban. To make it worse they have an option to 'appeal' but every time I have and explained myself they never respond even when they were boarish with the ban stick.

Anybody else experience this tyranny there?
