Hearthstone

Aight so I don't know why this is happening, but I was playing against my friend just to test the new cards before probably leaving the game forever and as a last desert, this happens. . . I was trying a crazy double yogg, cthun shudderwock deck with grumble and all that other stuff that's needed. My friend is on mobile and I'm in pc. When I played shudder after I've played all the key cards, the game stopped and my friend disconnected. He is now telling me his game is in an endless loop that it tries to reconnect, fails and over and over. I thought it's funny until I tried to close the game myself. And I close the game, battlenet and that stuff even with task manager, but when I open the game again it goes straight to that match and it waits for my friend to reconnect.

It's an endless loop and a new bug record for blizz. Anyways, I should not have posted this but thought it is something important. I can update you all with new screenshots later if you want. Now its 12 min waiting lol

Simple as that: I wanted to test the new Yogg while playing Duels. Made a deck full of spells, played 10 of them, played Yogg and... nothing happened! Where was not even the wheel "effect" on screen. 

Anyone knowing what's going on? 

This overlay popped up during a Duels run, and the only way I could get rid of it was to restart the Hearthstone client

edit:   Blizzard indicate the are going to replace the last 6 packs with a total of 1350 gold. This means these graphs are not currently accurate. Though I still maintain even level 50 is less gold than just quests in the old system (now 5,450g vs 7260g), and for far more effort.

One of the causes for confusion when people are assessing the new rewards track system, is that it's not clear how much gold XP is worth.

This is complicated by the fact that it changes depending on what level you've reached.

So using data from https://outof.cards/hearthstone/2200-the-rewards-track-how-long-to-get-to-level-50-644000-experience-required-to-get-to-level-150 I've charted the data - though I might be out by 1 level. This chart averages the value in gold of 1000XP based on what level you finish on the rewards track. Example:

If you finish at level 50, your 192,200XP equated to 21.85 Gold per 1000XP.

This is in contrast to the early levels which go as high as 78.43 Gold per 1000XP, or level 100 which nears 30 Gold per 1000XP.

I only went to level 100, because quite frankly, unless you are example 1 in Celestation's 2 examples from his twitter post, and play 5 hours each and every day (i.e. a third of your waking life), the vast majority of people will get no where near level 100 let alone level 150 unless changes are made.

Hi, I need help!

I can't play ranked or casual mode at all.
It started when I tried to play on my cellphone and I thought at first it was just a bug on the phone. But it wouldn't work on the tablet either and now, just tried on my PC and it still doesn't work!
Every other mode works fine, solo, tavern brawl, duels, battlegrounds and arena, I just checked and they all work. But when I click on "Play" to play ranked, the "wooden circlet" around the hearthstone logo spins forever and nothing happens. Tried googling to see if someone else had raised the issue but I found nothing.

I did all of my Daily Quests when the new System started and since then i didnt get any new ones it always says next Daily Quest in 20 hours Everytime i log in i did get new Weekly Quests though

Anyone else has the same Problem?

I have made a strawpoll to see what people think would be able to change hearthstone if blizzard decides on not changing the model for the battlepass. The options include:

The optional monthly membership that gives you access to the entire collection

This option has been passed around for a long time, mostly because blizzard is a company well known for a subscription based game in world of warcraft, and an argument i have genuinely not heard a strong argument against outside of the sunk cost fallacy for the putting the option into the game so late.

Doubling dust refunds

This option i feel has been needed in hearthstone for a loooooooooooong time. It feels terrible being free to play barely being able to play two classes out of the now ten and getting some shitty legendary that was already fringe but now that you have it it is completely worthless. You sell it in the shop and you get 1/4th of what it should be worth. This option would give dusting cards half their value instead of what we have now, legendaries would reward 800, epics 200, etc etc. and i think it has been needed for a long time in hearthstone just because it feels TERRIBLE uncrafting literally ANYTHING. And since there is no opportunity for getting the legendary you want other than crafting for dust. You will probably get more junk legendaries from packs before getting the ones you want, not counting the fact you might just get the same shitty ones you have been dusting over and over to get something good.(i got two Bwonsamdi, the Dead in rastakahn during the expansion, a card you could argue is still useless to this day.)

These are the two i have thought of as the best solutions, but if you have a better answer to it, feel free to pick the third option and reply below.

People on Reddit did the calcs.. the rewards are not the same,

Everything that is wrong:

-The exp per game played is pathetic

- The rewards are less than they used to be

-Pack rewards are terrible (Specially year of the dragon packs.. at level 45...)

-The tavern pass is not part of the preorder

-Blizzard makes content creators to shut up about it or ELSE (this is the worst part tbh..)

I am hovering over that uninstall button.. not china.. not other controversies done it. not the fact that I was barely playing anymore anyway.. this.. is just the last straw I was expecting this system hoped it would be awesome and all.. but nope it's a big slap in the face!

My go to card game is gonna be LoR from now on, was for a while anyway, see you there.

Hi, we are now 3 days into the new progression system and I am wondering what your current progress on the new rewards track and your overall experience is.

I play about 1 or 2 hours a day, finished all daily and weekly quests (with the 15% XP bonus boost) and I have reached level 17. My first impressions are:

- I only play ranked now since it rewards more XP

- The rewards track feels like a drag, because the progress has halted compared against the start

- The urge to win has become almost non-existent, because losing still rewards XP

- The rewards track has altered the way I play and I am not sure if this a positive change or not

- Hearthstone has become even more expensive than it already was

Calculations aside, I wonder at which level I will end up on the rewards track and if indeed it is going to fulfill Blizzard's promise of equal or more 'gold' acquired before the next expansion hits.

I created a deck, but when I go to play I keep getting a deck-related error message. I haven't been able to play a single game, so I can't even retire the deck and restart.

several achievement last for ever (e.g. reach level 60 with a class)

does that means that every season we will get this achievement automatically completed ? and get relevant progression reward?

Just finished my Fireside Gathering Pack Opening and wanted to share the results with you. I've opened 5 golden and 83 normal Darkmoon Faire packs.

The 5 golden packs netted me 1 golden epic.

From the 83 normal packs I got Zai, the Incredible (pack #2), Tickatus (#27) and Greybough (#64). On top of that, there were no less than 18 epics, one of them golden.

All in all I'm rather disappointed. No new old god and none of the legendarys I wanted. 3/83 is okayish but I've had way better luck in the past. The epics are great in quantity but absolute garbage in quality. Barely 5 of them are playable imho. Guess I'll have to spend my entire 8.000 gold on additional packs on release day.

How was your early pack opening? Any better luck?

I have noticed some annoying bugs in Darkmoon patch.

1. Card pack opening is now spoiled. When drawing card pack to opening position, achievements are already informed during that phase, even you have not yet opened single card on that pack. Got some legendary ”ruined” aswell as all the class related achievments. This happened in early opening on private fireside gathering.

2. Play 50 corrupt cards weekly quest is not working. I have played several (only possible atm in duels). And got only 1/50.

Think that have noticed some other minor things related to achievements, but do not recall details. Very annoying, seems that they have had to hurry and took some shortcuts on playtest.

Anyone else facing these issues?

Has Blizzard explained anywhere why did they takeaway some of the stats from the profile page?

where are my total arena wins? where are my total ranked wins(I cba to open a calculator and add all my wins from different classes, please don't suggest)?

Hi, the first and fifth rewards are from the new exp if you open them now or from the old ones?

I was looking at all of the corrupt cards because i was considering making a Y'Shaarj, the Defiler gonk druid deck, mostly as a meme because it would give you Moontouched Amulet but when i looked at all the corrupt cards(for all classes not just druid) i realized that there weren't a whole lot of them. And what was there wasn't super powerful either. And that's got my noggin joggin. They already said they would release more cards with their DMF "mini expansions" and i think that will include better corrupt cards. because other than memeing with Tickatus why would you play Y'Shaarj, the Defiler right now? Fleethoof Pearltusk isn't worth it on it's own. And mechanics like corrupt only stay for one expansion. i am envisioning some pretty good corrupt cards will NEED to come out or this legendary is bricked. and i don't think they'll brick an old god that easily.

I saw a post somewhere that you can already finish some of the achievements for Darkmoon Faire, even it´s not launched yet and you don´t have specific Legendaries or cards. I can confirm you can manage to complete some of them, if you meet the requirements, but I believe you can only complete them in Ranked mode.

For example, I´ve "accidentally" completed  Paladin´s "Lothraxion´s Ballon Shop" just by playing Steward of Darkshire and summoning some dudes with HP or Muster for Battle, Lost in the Jungle... you get the idea. Or you can try it reversed, summon Dudes and use Coghammer or Purifier's Maul on them, I think it should work either way.

Others mention easy completion of Hunter´s "Ride together, Die together" by simply triggering Toxic Reinforcements, or copying the second deathrattle minion on board.

I´m sure there are more, I didn´t have much time to check them out, but if you found out some others, that can be completed now, please share them, so we can gain some sweet XP :)

EDIT: We´ve found another one: Shaman´s "Two Punch Man" is doable with Doomhammer and 2x Rockbiter Weapons, or with any super huge DH attack.

Another to achieve: You can complete the two neutral achievements "Yogg take the wheel" and "Wheel of Misfortune" by playing Casual Duels with mage when you are offered a loot with the new Yogg and manage to play him (The second one needs to be done 3 times with three different outcomes, but it´s not that hard to pull off).

I saw few people discussing this below some main page News, and it didn´t get much attention, so I was thinking to make a thread about it.

What Free Legendary did you get from the Rewards track? Are you happy with the result or it´s the exact one you didn´t want?

Or if you want to, you can even share the free EPIC you get for lvl 5.

My free legendary was Zai, the Incredible - I´d prefer other Legendary over this as I don´t play much DH, but might try now.

That's quite a steep requirement wow.. they seriously put a BIG paywall for those treasures.. those I have seen have been not that great but still 20 epic different cards from the expansion? I have 11 :/ that's 3600 dust to get the remaining 9..
