Ok, this applies a potential cost reduction of 15 spread across 5 cards, which is pretty great. It certainly has the ability to whiff. Since it doesn't say "choose," I'm guessing it selects a random card, which makes it a bit worse. At a cost of 9, I don't know if I'd play this.
EDIT: Reading is sure a good thing to do. This says "and" not "or," so it's a potential discount of 25 mana. Amazing! This can enable all kinds of nasty combos.
