There was no trailer premiere for "Obi-Wan Kenobi" today - despite rumors that it could appear on Disney + Day.

Instead, we got a brief sneak peek at the upcoming Star Wars series, featuring a series of concept images and promising quotes from Ewan McGregor (Kenobi) and director Deborah Chow. In a minute-long video that can be seen on Disney +, we learn, among other things, that the pepper is big, and that a dangerous mission awaits. Spider man 2021

- People want to see this character again. Fans have had to wait a long time, says McGregor.

- It's a dark time for him. Being a Jedi is dangerous. There are Jedi hunters out there, says Chow.

Something that makes the series extra exciting for all Star Wars fans is of course Darth Vader's return. Hayden Christensen returns in the role he played in George Lucas' prequel trilogy, and gets to challenge his old Jedi master in new laser sword duels: Spider man 2021

- You can not tell the story of Obi-Wan Kenobi without including Anakin or Vader, the director explains.

The miniseries "Obi-Wan Kenobi" will be released on the streaming service Disney + sometime in 2022.
