How to pilot this deck
The League of Explorers has returned to the Core Set, and they make for a fun time in Paladin!
The general game plan is to out-heal aggro's damage and to overwhelm other control decks with mid-and late-game threats or out-value them with our card generation.
The League
Brann Bronzebeard obviously goes well with just any Battlecry, but is especially strong with Alliance Bannerman, Sunken Mooncatcher, and Amber Watcher.
Sir Finley Mrrgglton can net us a hero power that's more suited for our game plan.
Elise Starseeker can help make sure we have a high value late game against other high value/control decks.
Last but not least, Reno Jackson, alongside our other high-impact heals, makes it difficult for any aggro deck to finish us off.
Other Noteworthy Additions
Outside of the Leauge, Wild Pyromancer is also back, he pairs very well with reverted Equality and new addition Holy Maki Roll.
Zola the Gorgon has countless high-impact targets, a different tool for each matchup.
The Leviathan doubles as semi-targeted card draw and removal, what else could you ask for?
Mr. Smite can serve as removal or can round out games, especially when paired with Lightforged Cariel's hero power, Blessing of Queens.
I'm currently 5-0 on ladder with this list, and I will update as I continue to climb. If you have any questions, comments, or suggestions, feel free to comment or DM.
Thanks for looking, GLHF!
