Blood Magic

How much are you willing to sacrifice for power? All your spells will cost health instead of mana!

This build-a-deck brawl challenges you to build a deck from any class. Any spells added to your deck will cost health instead of mana, which is much like Cho'gall's card effect.

How it Works

  • You cannot play spells if your health is equal to or lower than the cost of the given spell.
  • If you have an effect which reduces the mana-cost of a spell, it will apply to the health cost of it.
  • Similarly, cards that increase the cost of spells, such as Loatheb, will also increase the health cost of the spell.

Tips

  • Minions that can draw cards can be quite helpful for getting those big spells you want to cast early.
  • If you can make your hero immune, with a card such as Violet Illusionist, spells are effectively free since you will not take damage.
  • Playing big spells early that give you considerable board presence or deal large amounts of damage can help you win.

    Oaken Summons and Violet Illusionist.

Easy turn 1 lethal. You're welcome

You do not even need immunity in druid. You have so much armor gain and heals in druid that also draw cards... Also you can do turn 1 lethal with any class

Druid is the only class that can fit 30 cards worth of draw without having to drop burn.

Also it allows you to (occasionally) get the turnaround lethal if your opponent doesn't manage to fully FTK you (whereas otherwise there's a possiblity you just don't have enough health to play your big spells)

          30 cards LUL
Paladin and Hunter can do lethal with single spell, Priest needs only 2 spells =)

That works perfectly well indeed or you could go full APM Spell Druid mode; gain attack plus armor and heal whilst drawing through your whole deck in 1 single turn for overkill damage. Very consistent especially combined with Solar Eclipse. You have to be fast though.

      Fun brawl! 😂

Now everyone can be wild Warlock! Turn 1 lethal decks incoming Haha... just play spell mage or buff paladin with charger (if it allows wild cards) or spell druid shenanigans...

I played twice as spell mage, going first. Won both before the opponent played a card. Highly interactive this one is not.

I guess it's faster than the Macaw one last week.
