Most of the time if you throw back a few cards its fine but when you are throwing back just one card the system fudges up. The chances are insanely high that you will end up getting the exact same card back if you only muligan one away. Over many many games I have tested it and like close to 80% of the time you get the same exact card back. Unless of course you only have the one. But if you have two there is a good chance you will get it back. If you have 3 its damn near a guaranty. If you have three don't even bother trying to muligan it.

Oh and if it does get you something different you can bet that card will pop back up within the next one or two draws anyway.  

Swim gave some advice on one of his streams which sounds like good advice, but I'm unsure how to use it properly. He said; in the lower tiers like plat and below the game is about getting the most value out of your cards. Like attacking when you have a good opening, but in the higher ranks value starts taking a back seat to probability. For example; there is an opening you can use to deal some good damage to the enemy. Now you have to ask yourself; what is the probability he has something in hand that could either stop it or put you at a disadvantage in the next round? If so. What is it? How could you play around it? If you do play around it; will it make a difference?

He said that's why you sometimes see master level players making moves that don't seem to provide much value at first glance, but that's because they are most likely trying to either play around something they think the other guy has, or they are trying to give themselves an advantage in the next round or two.

Well I'm reaching that point where you have to shift from value to probability because I'm stuck at plat 1. How do you make that change in mindset? 

She is basically a 7 mana Miss Fortune. They both do the same thing. They hit everything for 1 damage on attack and both have an extra life. Anivia has her egg and Miss Fortune doesn't need to attack to set off her ability. So its the same thing. Then at level up Anivia only does 2 to everything when Miss Fortune does 3.

Again Anivia is 7 mana. Miss Fortune is 3 and does the same things and has a stronger level up. How does that make sense?

I keep losing many games of LoR, purely because of wrongly understanding what cards do. It's so easy to get confused by complicated, contradictory, inconsistent and ambiguous text; it's worrisome to think how new and more casual players experience the game and how they get into it, at all.

For example: Riptide Rex. How the hell that card works? I spent half an hour reading the text, on google... experienced it 20 times, played it 20 times myself... still I don't get it what's happening there. Where dmg goes? 

Statikk Shock. Who is "an enemy" who is not "enemy Nexus", and who is "another"? And how much dmg goes... where? I studied logic from Aristotle to Kripke, and I have never experienced a sentence constructed like that one. 

I remember from before - if you remove Commander Ledros... or Chempunk Shredder, their effects (Skill) would trigger regardless. But when I played [Hearthstone Card (Devourer of the Depths) Not Found] today and my opponent Vengeance him, his Skill didn't trigger afterwards? Why? Why is it suddenly different? 

Can Vladimir Crimson Pact an 1hp minion? Can you get Vlad's effect from a minion who is going to die from it?

What about "I've seen" effect? A champion needs to be on the bench. Ok. But what if he dies after completing just 75% of the effect? Is everything reset, or not?

These are just the most representative examples.

Been having a blast with this Bilgewater, P and Z control list.

It seems to have favorable matchups against everything but yoink Sejuani, which is probably the best deck in the game right now.

Deck ID Not Found

Hey all,

For the sake of the community, I wanted to post this deck here. I was given this deck by a friend in the game, and I started using it in Silver rank. It was so effective (at least for me) that I kept using it all the way to Platinum. I've been playing LoR for less than 4 weeks total, maybe 5 ranked games per day, and I'm already Platinum. I did not track my winrate, but it was very high (as you can tell from that information, it has to be, mathematically).

Edit: It stopped having a positive winrate in Platinum. Win some, lose some. So I don't recommend this deck past platinum. But it was great up until then.

I recalled a legion marauder with the 2 cost retreat card but my Legion Marauder wasnt buffed from my previous attacks. I won anyway, but isn't this a bug?

I apologize I am first time presenting deck and forgive me if I post it incorrectly. I try to get the list on here. As the title says this is bannerman with a Noxian Twist.

The idea of this is to use the effective Bannerman Demacian core to, but use cards like Darius to overpower certain over midrange regions that like to chump block you like Endure and shadow isles. This deck is a bit weak to Ionia and doesn't like Will of Ionia for obvious reasons. Below is my core build, basically subbed out 3 Garens for 3 Darius and 2 Riposte with 2 Decisive Maneuver.

Things I have thought about:
Dropping 1 Darius and 1 Swiftwing Lancer to put in 2 Radiant Guardian
Dropping Laurent Protege for Laurent Duelist or Legion Drummer
I even thought about putting in Purify and 2nd Unyielding Spirit.

-There will be a tournament bracket.

-This tournament will be BO5 with 3 decks allowed for each player.

-First player to win with all three decks wins match

-the bracket is double elimination.

-Sign ups closes at the beginning of next Sunday(June 22) and rounds will begin Monday.

Vlad levels up from "Allies" surviving damage, but that incluides Vlad himself. Imperial demolitionist targets an "ally" but that means other units, not itself.

The current draft game mode for LoR right now is Expeditions, but I think that due to giving cards in buckets it often leads to worse versions of constructed decks instead of truly unique decks. 

My draft mode mode work like this: first, the player chooses 3 Regions out of an offered 5, then they are taken to a separate empty collection and given 65 random cards from each region and 9 Wildcards (that can be used for any rarity). This separate collection and wildcards would not transfer over to the player’s real collection. Then, the player would build a deck of 40 cards with those 3 Regions, using the random cards that they got as well as cards they crafted with the wildcards. After each victory or defeat they receive 2 Wildcards (to a max of 10) and they can adjust their deck. The run would end after 6 victories or 2 consecutive losses, and a second run can be taken after the first one (just like expeditions). The mode could either be played with an entrance fee and then give rewards based on victories, or be played for free with no rewards. 

The point of this mode would be to offer interesting deck building challenges for players, as they would have to change their strategy based on which regions and cards they receive, and use Wildcards to refine their decks. I’m not sure about what the exact numbers of Wildcards and Random cards given should be, but it could be adjusted to an optimal amount that doesn’t lead to too consistent decks.

Hello there. I've downloaded legends of runeterra on my phone for a month now and I love it. But what I noticed was that when I played the game normally, it was pretty clunky and laggy. But, when I kept my finger on the screen,  it ran as smooth as silk. Any ideas?

So I am curious, why are your funnest decks to play? I think mine is my Teemo/Sejuani deck. I had discovered that puff caps are an awesome way to trigger Sejuani’s level up, so now I have a deck that focuses on puffcap placement and defending until I can bring full-power Sejuani into play. It’s super fun, but not very good in the ranked game mode.

I'd like to know where most players are at and where I stand. As of right now I'm dancing between plat 3 and 2.

I just wanted to share this in case it's useful for anyone.. I looked around but couldn't find a definite answer to this elsewhere.

Turns out, if you open a champion capsule from a region that you already have all the champions for, you'll get a champion from another region instead.

For me it was SI.

I wasn't sure if I would just get 750 shards instead of a champion.. but thankfully I unlocked Lee Sin instead.

So Freljord as a region in present in 3 of the tier 1 lists of the meta.

This gives it the top win rate of all the regions on mobalytics

It's hanging around 60 percent in the best decks

- It has the best buffs, fury of the north, elixir of iron

- Frostbite is strong, it counters other midrange lists

- Sejuani is the number 1 champ

- Deck buffing is strong with omen hawk being the best example

- It has good teck options in a tournament setting
