Beast Whisperer is an event that appears on new servers around day 54, when first generation of Pets is unlocked.

Players need to reach Furnace level 18 to unlock Beast Cage, a new building that allows them to capture pets.

If you are not at Furnace level 18 at the time when pets first unlock, or if you create a new character in a state where pets are already unlocked, once reaching Furnace level 18, you will be eligible to construct Beast Cage, capture pets, and Beast Whisperer event will start for you.
