New Year's Convoy and New Year's Prelude are events in Whiteout Survival that got introduced on January 1st, 2025 to welcome the New Year.

New Year's Convoy

This event offers a specialized shop for players to buy various upgrade materials or cosmetics for the event currency, Silver Shells.

Purchase packs or complete missions in the New Year's Prelude to obtain Silver Shells and New Year Points.

You can claim milestone rewards for your collected New Year Points.

New Year Bell

A new Daybreak Island Decoration has been introduced via this shop - New Year Bell.

You can buy it in the shop for 100 Silver Shells.

To upgrade the decoration to level 10, you would need 58 copies of New Year Bell (1+2+3+4+5+6+7+8+10+12).

New Year's Packs

Conversion rate for the currency on the picture is 25 CZK = 1 USD.

What Items To Buy From New Year's Shop?

First, you should know that the upgrade item amounts are different based on your server age. Newer servers will be offered less upgrade items for the same amount of Silver Shells.

  • For example, the hot deal "X Fire Crystals for 30 Silver Shells" might offer a bundle of 20, 50 or 70 Fire Crystals depending on server age.

With this in mind, another thing to realize is, Silver Shells are a currency you can hold on to in your backpack and use in future events. There have been several events that use this currency, so you might either save up to buy something more expensive in the future, or wait until your server gets older to be able to buy more upgrade items for the same amount of Silver Shells.

But if you are looking to buy something right now, then Fire Crystals or Design Plans are the best items to get since you can never have enough. Mithril is another potential pick, since there are not many ways to obtain it outside of buying packs with money. Even thought The Labyrinth game mode introduced a new shop where you can get more, it is very low amounts.

Anything else is not worth the amount of Silver Shells required, but obviously if you are a sucker for cosmetics, new emote, nameplate or private chat skin might be what you are looking for.

New Year's Prelude

Collect Harmony Points through Daily Missions and claim rewards in the rewards track.

  • Daily Missions reset at 00:00 UTC.

Purchase Echo of Dawn pack to unlock Epic rewards in the rewards track and claim double Daily Mission rewards.

After all rewards have been claimed, every 500 points gained will grant an extra Supply Chest which contains:

  • 100 Gems
  • 1x 1h General Speedup
