Polar Popularity

"Romance is in the air this Spring as the icy tundra makes way for the first flowers of the new year. It is also a traditional time for the giving of roses, but who will reach the pinnacle of Polar Popularity in your hear?"

Event Rules

  1. Chiefs who have reached Furnace Lv. 13 can exchange gifts with other Chiefs during the event. Gifting accrues Patronage while receiving a gift accrues Popularity.
  2. Gifting allows you to claim the title of that Chief's Patron and earn a spot on their Patron Ranking.
  3. Reach a certain number of Patronage points to earn special Patron Rewards.
  4. The top 15 Chiefs by Patronage and top 15 Popularity points within a regional group will be given awesome rewards at the end of the event.

Note: All leftover event items will be converted into a certain amount of 1K Secured Resource Supply Chests and mailed to you after the event.

Popularity Star & Patron

You can send gifts to other Chiefs from the event screen or from their Chief Profile.

  • Gifting raises your Patronage.
  • Receiving gifts raises your Popularity.

When cities with both skins are placed next to each other in the exact position shown on the picture below, the skins provide an unique combo animation.

Bloom Battle

"The Rosarion has been devouring the roses all over the tundra. Defeat it and protct the roses for the romantic holiday!"

Event Rules

You have to be at least Furnace Lv. 12 to join the event.

  1. The Rosarion will appear randomly in the Wilderness, and all Chiefs from your State must work together to save the delicate roses from its fangs and claws.
  2. Each attack on the Rosarion consumes 1 attack chance; you have 5 attacks on the Rosarion each day, and unused attacks don't carry forward to the following day.
  3. Each attack against the Rosarion grants [Rosarion Attack Rewards].
  4. Witch each attack, you will earn points based on the damage dealt. These points can be accumulated. Rewards will be sent the next day based on your accumulated points ranking of the previous day, and your points accrued on the previous day will be reset.

How To Increase Your Damage to The Rosarion?

From what I've observed, it seems to act similarly to a Raging Bear attack. Meaning you want to maximize your offensive power in a single march as much as you can - be it Pet buffs, Minister buffs or otherwise. Use only your strongest march and wait for it to return before attacking again.

Troop ratio might be different based on your used heroes, but you should be either leaning towards a heavy spread of Lancers or Marksman.

I can't say if you need a certain amount of Infantry, but I have seen some discussion online, especially on WOS Nerds discord, that a Raging Bear attack needs at least 5,000 Infantry otherwise the damage calculation changes for the worse. So I suppose use at least that much just to be safe.

We have 5 attacks each day, so if you want to experiment you have the opportunity to do so, since you can influence what kind of variables will you introduce into your march - be it chance based hero skills or troop skills, or different troop ratios.

Ranking Rewards

Ranking rewards will be tallied each day based on prior day's ranking of top 300 Chiefs who scored at least 10,000 points.

Sweet Whispers Shop

During the event, for every 1 top-up point you earn, you automatically receive 1 piece of [Sweet White Chocolate] which can be used to purchase items in the store.

  • You can earn top-up points by buying various packs for money.

Note: At the end of the event, each unused piece of [Sweet White Chocolate] will be converted into a 1K Meat (Secured) which will be mailed to you.

Polar Popularity Custom Chest

Costs 75,000 Sweet White Chocolates and contains your choice of a Rose Gift Box or Four-Leaf Clover Brooch.

Honeymoon Trip March Skin

In Sweet Whispers Shop, you can buy Honeymoon Troop march skin for 25,000 Sweet White Chocolates, meaning you need to top-up 25,000 points.

Valentine's Day Packs

During the event, you have an option to buy several Valentine Day's Packs. You need to purchase the current one available to get access to another one in the chain.

Note: At the time of writing, I do not know how many packs are in the chain, nor what is their content and how much they cost. I am not buying them myself. Feel free to post a picture of other packs in the comments below.

Thanks to AngelOfDeath for the screenshots (Server age ~352 days (end of GEN5), Furnace Lv. FC7).

  • The amount of items in the pack seem to be dependent on your Furnace Level and Server age.
  • For example, Furnace Lv. 7 in Server #4 has the same amount of items as Furnace Lv. 22 in Server #2000+, both are not getting Fire Crystals making the packs so much worse.
