October 1 - October 31 · Daily resets at midnight Eastern

October is Oozefest! The Ooze is rising out of the pumpkin patch and the camp has one month to get ready for it. Knock on other members' doors for candy, and on realm pages and news articles too: three quarters of the time you get a treat, and the rest of the time you get a trick. Donate candy, timber, bars and fish to the camp defenses to raise the Settlement Level, because every level of it makes everybody hit the bosses harder. Five bosses come one a week, each with three attacks a day and a chapter of the story, and the last of them walks up to the wall on the twenty-ninth. Smelt, tan and weave what you gather into gear at the Forge, then open a shop on your profile and sell what you do not need. The free 50-level pass pays Ectoplasm all month.

      Craft as much gear as possible and be sure to use your Sugar Rush buff! Higher quality candy = better buff.

        Can you help me with my shop issue? I have a few items I crafted that I am unable to list in my shop. It says "Something went wrong, try again."

        And don't forget to check how many attacks the Sugar Rush buff lasts. With some you need a new candy for every attack.

          And on that note, I also found out the hard way that buffs from candy do not stack and overwrite your previous bonus, so be sure that you're not taking a candy buff weaker than the one you already have.

            Yesterday I discovered that you can make a Battle Stew in the kitchen that gives you one extra attack. Today I discovered that those don't stack either. Just one a day. So don't be greedy like me!

  • I'm the party mage so in my foraging I need to start finding flax so I can get the tailor up.

    I'm assuming if I make myself weapons and armor in the workshop, I can attack Gourdon fro more damage and take less damage in return? Are there types of items that are more/less effective depending on the boss?

      Yes and no. Not yet anyway but we will eventually move into elemental types of weapons to add some strategy to things but that's not live yet today.

      I do apologize. I was fixing some last minute bugs late at night and thought I flipped the switch on this after I published the patch notes. I did not so we're only 9 hours late. Better late than never though!
