Awesome Scholomance Academy Launch Decks from Hearthstone's Top Players and Streamers

Scholomance Academy has opened its doors and we're tracking decks of Hearthstone's streamers and pro players. Check out plenty of lists you may want to give a try yourself down below.

Reminder, this is just Day 1 so things are going to be all over the place and it usually isn't worth crafting specific cards until at least a week or two into the expansion. The pros are also updating their lists all the time so don't be surprised if the lists here aren't exactly what they're playing right now.

  • Not sure if there's a better place to make suggestions for the site, but it's pretty annoying that (on mobile at least, which is where I access this site from 99% of the time) decklists land on a page without the decklist visible (ie they land on the guide before you've even seen the list). It's particularly annoying with these Pro lists that don't have guides (to be clear, not complaining that the staff posting these didn't make guides, it just highlights the situation with the landing page).

    It still seems backwards for any other deck though: anyone looking at a deck will want to see the cards in it, not everyone necessarily will want to read a guide.

    I would suggest reversing the default as a quality of life change, removing multiple clicks from the user experience, particularly on a launch day like this, but also any time anyone is browsing variations of decks to see options, see if they have the cards and/or can afford to craft, etc.

  • IF you get her on turn 3 wit no other play (and no Lightning Bloom either) then, and only then, it's a slightly buffed Vulpera Scoundrel)

    Any turn afterwards, or Lightning Bloom in hand,  and it's insane in an aggro deck as well. Shaman has plenty of damage spells that can go face or other ones an ultra aggressive deck could make use of if it had the room to run them (and others a 3rd copy in the deck if possible would be an auto-win)

  • Can't believe 3 Shaman decks actually passed on Instructor Fireheart, it's one of the most versatile, insane value cards you can play at any stage of the game and great huge results.

    Definitely one of the cards I'm most satisfied with getting off the bat, and I can't imagine a Shaman deck that can't benefit from it.

    • The puke shaman is very aggressive, wouldn't want a beefed up Vulpera Scoundrel to stop it from cycling faster. I could see it getting good use in Midrange or Control decks.

      • Didn't reply to you by mistake, reply is up.

  • Absolutely crushing it with the DH deck. Getting quite a lot of friend requests post game from players taking offense as a... bonus?

      Matteo29 has an even better aggro DH deck, if that’s your thing ;
