I like this. It is cheap, good stats, has a fair amount of overload, cool art, and spell damage is always fun. I imagine this will be a staple in Aggro and Midrange shaman decks moving forward.
I was hoping a 1/3, but I guess they want to contrast it to Mage's tempo
Not sure about it but its not completely trash. Its a good 3/2 for 1 on turn 1 but It cripples your 2 mana slot, unlike Sludge Slurper which at least gives you an option for turn 2. And in other decks with Landslide its basically 3 mana deal 4 damage to your opponent's board.
I think this card is very strong even tough it could make your turn 2 play a little awkward.
Well, Sludge Slurper was overused, it was nerfed to 1/1 (and then unnerfed) and now we have his bigger brother for same cost.
Is that Zappy Boy?
Either way, seems like a way better Overload stand-in than Dust Devil. Cheap spell damage shouldn't be underestimated, but I hardly see this being used for tempo
Really good 1 drop, like those stats are above premium 1 drop stats. Spell damage shaman will love this card! Also it's ODD Costed so ODD Shaman can use it! Novice Zapper seems really good, and this zappy boy will surely see a lot of play. (Is it actually THE Zappy Boy from that BFA WoW trailer?)
Standard: Spell damage shaman and Overload Shaman probably want Zappy Boy.
Wild: ODD Shaman would probably love it.
Very cool card, the overload on turn 2 makes this very fair
Shockingly good.
Ah hah. Ah ha-hah. Yes.
Yeah, Landslide 's best friend.
Also an increidble tempo and early threat on itself.
I dunno, I'm kind of alarmed by that amount of stats on a 1-drop. Sure, it probably makes turn 2 less impactful, but if it doesn't get cleared then it's a dangerous early game tool. Plus, in the late game it's very cheap spell damage for a potentially large burst.
This will be like Mana Wyrm. Pretty much autoinclude
Yeah. Autoinclude.
