Seems pretty weak. Takes quite a while for this thing to scale. At best it trades into a 1/1 and becomes a 2/3 on turn 2. I guess it's better than nothing
I tried having fun once.
It was awful.
Remember Mana Wyrm? Well here it is, but as a priest card that loves healing instead of spells! Crimson Clergy has some premium 1 drop stats that can really help tempo priests. However Tempo priest has always been meh, so i'm still not sure if it will actually be enough to ACTUALLY make tempo priest good.
RNG is only fun as long as there is a 50/50 chance of getting something really good or trash level of bad. If RNG always results in something good, then it's not fun.
I'm giving it a 5/5, I think this will be a really good card, the problem is that it depends on how good the overall Aggro priest will be because I don't think you'll see this in control priest.
It looks like they are leaning into the midrange/tempo Priest idea. I suspect that archetype will receive a fair amount of support in the expansions, so I have to believe this is a 4-star card.
It looks okay. But its geared for a tempo priest deck that doesn't exist.
Maybe, just maybe there's enough draw options to argue a case for this card. But I simply don't see it happening. Frazzled Freshman still exist and can at least argue that its impossible to remove on turn 1. This one however, can't make that same argument.
A slightly sturdier Lightwarden with less snowballing capabilities won't change Tempo Priest's fortunes. The issue with that archetype is not card quality but lack of card draw. Without that, they can print all the best possible Tempo minions in the world and the deck will still suck because it runs out of gas too easily and has a really hard time recovering from a board wipe.
"True mastery takes dedication."
Historically speaking, 1-drops with good stats and an ability that increased their attack have performed very well. Mana Wyrm, Battlefiend, Murloc Tidecaller, and Tunnel Trogg have all seen play.
However, this card may not be worth it if it ends up being too difficult to trigger. Lowly Squire was never really played until Demon Hunter cam along with their 1-mana hero power.
Carrion, my wayward grub.
Lightwarden anyone? this has 3 hp but only grows 1 attack at a time and only from friendly heals. Doubt it will see play but maybe it gets support.
I'll boop you
This has a lot of potential with all the healing bonus buffs that have recently come out. Perhaps an off meta fun deck of shenanigans.
