The Duelist Burndown!
It's the Burndown, Felfire style! Get a deck, hero power and treasure. Keep 'em if you win!
Trivia
- This is a new version of the Burndown Tavern Brawl which debuted during the Felfire Festival (2020).
- The original version of this brawl debuted in 2019 with the Fire Fest-E.V.I.L.
- The art remains unchanged from the original.
How it Works
- Queue up into Tavern Brawl and be given a deck created by an algorithm to get spells and minions based on a theme and mana curve.
- Each deck is given a different number in addition to its theme. The more a deck wins, the more it will spread!
- If you win your match, you'll keep your deck for the next brawl. Your score is recorded with that deck and displayed to your opponent at the end of the game.
- If you lose your match, you'll be given your opponent's deck for the next brawl.

the stupidest brawl overall. 99% decided in turn 1
Overloaded! + Wisdom 4562 > 76
Did not notice there was already a thread of this brawl, but now I have played countless games to the point where I can notice the meta.
So "Overloaded! + Wisdom 76" is the best deck, period. You can deal up to 18 damage outright, and it's not hard to get lucky with your draw to get Rockbiter Weapon, Lava Burst or Molten Blast, at that point which you can just OTK on turn 1. Mirrors are decided on whoever gets to OTK in one turn first, then on whoever didn't get the Coin. EDIT - you can hope for Far Sight as your last ditch effort to draw one of those three cards.
I feel like "Choices, Choices + Swarm 67" is one deck that comes even close to defeating that OTK deck, and it can do alright on both going first and second. When starting, Hero Power twice, pray for no OTK, then Hero Power Twice and use Zephrys's Lamp to find Pyroblast, or Inner Demon since Fireheart will be at exactly 8 HP. When going second, you can dig for Alexstrasza and heal back to 20 Health.
Basically the Lamp is your best bet against the 76 deck, because you can dig for either Alex or Pyro, or even a solid enough defensive card to the point you can quickly stabilize and turn the game around, but that is much more rare.
So many ppl forget this...
There so much potential with this brawl. But eventually you'll get to an Omu and then its just a one way street from there.
u mean Shaman Overload Wisdom 76. my last 4 games were mirrors, wins on turn 1 with sword of queldelar windfury HP and any other 2 dmg minum spell or the rockbiter
"Let's introduce broken OTK-enabling shenanigans to ruin a cool brawl."
"That's not stupid enough, let's lower the starting health by 10 just to make sure it's completely unfun always!"
I got my deck and bailed. Totes fun.
Omu vs. Omu!
Omu vs. Omu!
Omu vs. Omu!
Omu vs. Omu!
Omu vs. Omu!
Omu vs. Omu!
...
Lost to Omu, then won with Omu b/c it's nearly impossible to beat Omu. lol.... what a stupid design.
When I first got the Omu deck I thought it would be the best, but there is an even crazier deck out there, with a completed Quel'Delar, a passive that starts you at 10 mana and a hero power that gives your hero windfury. If you draw any burn, it's a first turn kill. The only times I didn't get an OTK is when the opponent played a taunt and when I went second in the mirror match.
At least it was a quick way to complete the 10 Shaman games for the Fire Festival questline.
Worst brawl ever. Those treasures make the brawl boring. I got to play with the deal 3 damage, costs 0, twice a turn. With 20 life it's just 3 turns to win.
Only if you are Player 1, you best use it to heal unless you got the perfect curve.
This is a cool idea, but I think it will be nothing but unfun auto-win decks before long. I played two games: First I lost to someone with LOCUUSTS!, and then I got the deck and used the same card to win. The card is effectively “Twinspell: Deal 14 face damage”, which is pretty hard to counter when you start with 20 health. But I know we’ll soon see plenty of decks that kill you before you even get to turn 7.
Started this and got a deck that had "2 wins" vs a deck that had "99"... which had a "deal three damage" hero power that costs 0 and can be used twice. Basically turn three lethal every time. Dumb.
there's a T1 lethal with blade of queldalar guaranteed in ur opening hand and then hero power windfury.
Well, I started with 113 win deck and I'm pretty sure it's my old deck from Fire FestEVIL. Just hero portrait is changed.
