Mercenary: Legendary coin purse

If I purchase (7.99€) the Legendary Coin Purse will I get 3x250 coins of Legendary I don't own (and in this case it can be reasonable) or are they random coins? Tks

Probably random. I cant see why team5 would deliberately sell coins for legendaries we dont have yet, because it'll likely just provoke memes in reddit telling us how useless the coins were

Frankly, I'd prefer a guarantee they be for legendaries you don't already have - it's not that hard to grind for tasks and get coins for legendaries you do have, but if you're mostly F2P it can be a real nuisance to unlock new mercs (particularly since duplicate protection doesn't work as many expected).
