Can't say I know whether this'll end up being good, but damn the art and effect are so awesome it deserves to be!
Started playing HS in May, 2015. The bad news: I missed the excitement of 'Naxx out?' and GvG. The good news: I never met an Undertaker.
Costs too much for a 4/5 body
Do you mean 4/8? 8 mana seems fair for those stats considering once Lucentbark is on the field it isn't really going anywhere,

That art is amazing! 😍
Would it work for healing minions or only heroes
Well...they are trying RESTO DRUID concept works.
this is actually super cool if heal druid takes off. good thing cube rotated out when it did.
Carrion, my wayward grub.
Da Undatakah synergy should be mentioned here. Should work the same as Sherazin does, in this case leaving the dormant form of Lucentbark on the board after Da Undatakah's death.
Really amazing artwork on this one, one of the best thus far in this set imo. Regarding the power level of this card, it's hard to say how viable "HealDruid" will end up, but I think it will be playable at least. If Silence is prominent in the meta and Druid does not run other silence-worthy targets, this card will become worse. But let's wait until we have seen the whole set, maybe there's some amazing support card for this legendary coming up.
all right, this card looks promising except for one crucial factor, druid does not have enough healing effects. right now there is only 1 in standard, and 3 in wild. this set better have some good healing cards, or else this deck will flop.

seems decent.. hopefully heal druid gets more support
This card seems kind of bad to me, to be honest.
Not that the effect is bad, it's just that any Heal Druid deck is going to have a limited number of heals in their deck and you definitely don't want to be putting bad healing cards in your deck.
Worst case scenario, it gets silenced and you played a Primordial Drake w/o the battlecry.
Best case scenario, you rez it 2 or 3 times, maybe copy it and play Da Undatakah as a finisher.
Doesn't seem like it's going to work, but you never know.
It seems like the interesting question is how many times do you have to bring this back before it's "good enough."
I think I'm on twice in a normal game, particularly given the extra risk of being silenced since that's a common way to big taunts already.
The idea of going nuts with it (faceless, undatakah, any plan where we plan on bringing 5+ of them back) is less exciting because with that level of commitment we can do bigger/better/kill them now things. So if we're going to play this it feels like a value card that wants to be played in a deck that gets value on the front end of the heal effects which, as a couple people noted, requires more/more rewarding heals than we have now.
Don't think there's enough druid healing spells worth keeping in the deck to make this worthwhile.
It has all the right features to make for a card that appeals to me; it's just a question of how viable Heal-uid(?) will be.
Da Undatakah seems like it should go dormant as itself and come back as itself again, based on the card text wording. "Go Dormant. Restore 5 health to awaken this minion." But if it works like you said with Sherazin, it should work the same with this.
Still, the card text wording should apply to Da Undatakah, not to the original minion. Otherwise, the wording should say, "Restore 5 health to awaken Lucentbark." But why should we expect reasonable interactions or wording from Blizzard?
A cheap heal with twin-spell would make this guy amazing. Edit: Keeper Stalladris plus Crystal Power on turn 3 might just be good enough for a heal druid to be a thing. Who knows. That combo would at least for sure activate the Crystal Stag which would be pretty amazing.
I think this is the card that would make me want to play a restore druid. Just thinking of all the ways to clone a bunch of Lucentbarks onto the board and then repeatedly bringing them back sounds lovely
