Competition Theme: Goons Of Galakrond
It's time to prove once and for all which class is most devoted in their service to Galakrond!
- You must create a Galakrond support card - using the Invoke mechanic - for one of the five Galakrond classes
- That's one of either Rogue, Shaman, Warrior, Priest or Warlock
We're worshipping Dragons this week as Wailor and linkblade91 take us back to the good old days of Galakrond!
As always, I can be reached through Discord or here on the site via PM if you have any issues to report.

Welcome to the site!
I'd love to do a prompt that requires you to make a Galakrond for a non-Galakrond class, but that would require every token slot:
Just not practical, unfortunately :( Anyway, I have two ideas for the Shaman:
Galakrond Shaman generally uses the little Rush Elementals to stall for a big swing, like the 8/8 Storms. Thunderfury can either be used to clear a path as well - the first iteration - or to seal the deal Bloodlust-style. I want the second card to cost 3-Mana so it can be comboed with the Galakrond, but I'm concerned that that is too good.
You see a storm approaching? That's the sign of the end. The world will end with Galakrond. He is called "Azeroth's End" after all.
First idea. He's supposed to make Armor out of dragon scales.
EDIT: Added Dragonblight Ritualist.
I love this prompt because I adored Year of the Dragon and this is so nostalgic. I wanted to take some of the existing archetypes and take them in new directions. I wanted to bring additional emphasis onto minion-based Galakrond decks, channeling more Elementals for Shaman and bigger minions in general for Warrior.
I liked the idea of a different way to synergize with having already Invoked, so I made this. Im happy with the effect, but I do wonder if the statline needs a bit of adjusting. Feedback is appreciated.
Kinda surprised to see all cards are Shaman or Warrior.
Some early feedback:
About your card, I like the effect, but the statline should definetly be 3/4 or even 4/4. The effect is positive (even if it has Overload), so it shouldn't have above vanilla stats.
My third Shaman card in a row.
There weren't really enough Elemental synergies to make a deck around them, but this should be fine since you can get more Elementals through Invoking and it strengthens Elementals that may have already been worth including in a deck.
EDIT: I did consider making it a 5-Cost 3/6. Thoughts?
Managed to get another idea in here.
Out of every class, Priest is currently tied with Hunter for fewest winning cards (they both have 4). If there's a comp here that can get Priest out of that spot, it's this one. I'm honestly a bit surprised to not see any Rogue cards yet. There's a lot of Shaman here.
Feedback
Did someone say…
Jokes aside, you may get some meme points for using Thunderfury. The first version is very Reaper's Scythe-esque, though it's a lot easier to use in my opinion making it a stronger card. The second one I would avoid because giving a lot of stuff Windfury will always be problematic. We all know how [Hearthstone Card (Battlegrounds Battlemaster) Not Found] turned out.
Redscale Armorsmith is a very solid card all around and I can see it doing well.
Dragonblight Ritualist is a cool design (and one that I may or may not have taken some inspiration from, so I hope I didn't step on your toes too much) though the reward is definitely too weak. Compared to Scion of Ruin which gives you some addition 3/2s with Rush or Veiled Worshipper which draws 3 cards, your reward for Invoking twice is summoning a random 2-Cost Demon. If you can bump that up, I think it'll be a pretty good card.
Storming Invocation should probably be a Nature spell, but otherwise it's a fine card.
I prefer Gronn Taskmaster. I think its designing is just a lot more interesting overall.
Welcome aboard! I look forward to seeing more of you around these parts.
I am a fan of this "if you've Invoked this turn" idea as it's a cool spin on the usual Invoke effects not just in the real game, but also so far in this competition. It's a strong 3 mana 4/4 which isn't technically overpowered, but with a positive effect, will most likely rub people the wrong way. I do think the effect is also a bit weak. Forked Lightning is not exactly one of Shaman's stronger spells.
Forked Lightning also doesn't need the DoD watermark in my opinion.
Shaman seems to be the most popular choice for the comp so far.
I like this. I quite like that the Invoke plays into the Freeze effect with the 2/1 Elemental. I will say that maybe it should be a 2/5 because it seems quite pushed at the moment. Great job overall though.
Alright so Wailor and Demon, I created two possible new versions based on your respective pieces of feedback.
Wailor does have a point about its value. I don't think it's too crazy, because there weren't many spell Shaman decks, but maybe just reduce the Attack gain to 1. Although we do already have Squallhunter in the same expansion, which is why I think you should go with your second idea.
I definitely think "For each time you've Invoked this game," is going to do well in this comp. Not sure if it has enough flair, but it'll definitely do well playability-wise.
I'm less of a fan of Dragonblight Ritualist. Mainly because I just like your other idea better, but also because I think its value scales too slowly.
I really like how its effect casts an Overload spell, so you still have to sort of pay for the extra effect. However, I do feel it's a bit too difficult to get the effect, compared to its value. There aren't a lot of Invoke cards, which is why the "Invoked twice"-cards have quite strong effects. Your card only requires one Invoke, but getting it on the same turn can be difficult.
Also, a 4/4 3-Cost is kind of unusual. For minions of 2 Mana or higher you should probably stick to a stat total of (Cost * 2 + 1) max, unless they have some sort of negative effect.
I do like both of them, but I like the second one better, because it also buffs the Elementals you get from Invoking and combos well with the Neutral Invoke minions.
Incorporating AeroJulWin's feedback, I have made the final(?) iteration of Dragonstorm Knight:
I wanted to also say thank you to everyone who gave me feedback and gave me such a warm welcome to Card Competitions!
More feedback:
Also, I'd say the artwork should be more zoomed in, even if you need to cut a bit of the wings right now.
Really liked Storming Invocation's art, so I tried to rework it based on feedback. Gronn only changed slightly in name, but its here for easy juxtaposition.
My right arm is in a sling, so I can't do much card-creating at the moment. Kind of a pain to review cards with one hand typing :/ Gonna have to just submit Thunderfury and call it a day.
Sorry I haven't been around.
a good recovery, and good luck with your card link!
Ouch >.<
I hope you get well soon.
VLOG review! GOGOGO! :D
btw GL finalists, some nice ideas made it through :)

Congrats Kommutator, you won!
Since your competition is going to be competition 4.20, I suggest that your comp is something called "Blaze It!"
Just a suggestion...
Congrats to Kommutator!
