This seems very scary. Paladin generally thrives on just sticking something on the board and buffing it up and a 3-mana 1/5 is hard to deal with. Problems arise however if you're playing this while behind because it's just not a threat on its own. Maybe we get a 1-mana buff spell for Paladin at one point and then this becomes a lot better.
I tried having fun once.
It was awful.
Theoretically this looks good, but honestly its never going to ever reach its full potential.
Play this on 3, your opponent damages it, and the turn after you buff it with noble mount? then it has 4 damage with somewhere around 3 health and divine shield. Wouldn't you be better off just playing Goody Two-Shields instead?
In the late game you can build up an absurdly damaging monster with librams, and then pray your opponent can't remove it. But then again, this applies to just about any minion, and since this card has no rush you dont have control the same way you would have if you have just buffed paladin's many taunt minions or just a plain rush minion.
I can't see this taking anything by storm. It gets even worse after librams rotate, and suddenly this card is just a slightly bigger Mana Addict.
Standard:
Pre-rotation: 5/5 star card, hard to deal with and can snowball really hard especially alongside Librams. This seems like a must-include in Libram paladin.
Post rotation: Without Librams it will be a bit weaker, but still a solid card in any paladin deck that runs a bunch of buff cards. Maybe handbuff paladin will be able to utilise it? Either way still solid as long as you have a bunch of buffs in your deck. However it might see competition from Whelp Bonker in terms of being a good buff target.
Wild: Honestly idunno. Maybe some buff paladin deck might use it.
RNG is only fun as long as there is a 50/50 chance of getting something really good or trash level of bad. If RNG always results in something good, then it's not fun.
Libram Paladin has a new friend
Wow - this card will be very dangerous and will sureley be played in almost every paladin list.
Challenge me ... when you're ready to duel a god!
This is making me happy Hand of A'dal is rotating soon. Librams too.
