Hey look, it's Quest Druid support, and it's only 2 years late.
I really don'T see this being good at all. You need this in your opening hand for it to even be decent and then it requires you to do nothing early to get any sort of payoff which is probably worse.
I can't even put it in a greedy Vanndar deck
I tried having fun once.
It was awful.
Hmm, i'm not sure what to think. It seems good because you can lower it's cost to 0... However it seems so clunky to play. It only remembers the unspend mana when it's in your hand (from what i can understand from the wording), so it just seems bad to me.
RNG is only fun as long as there is a 50/50 chance of getting something really good or trash level of bad. If RNG always results in something good, then it's not fun.
Its honestly not that bad to me. Basically if you're playing a slower non-curve deck then this is practically a 4/5 taunt on the cheap. Hell, skip your first turn and your 3rd becomes 1 step stronger.
Of course, you need to actually first have it in your hand (presumably) for this to work. But if youre not playing many 1 drops or youre a control deck, mulligan for this card isn't all that bad a choice.
While this card is unlikely to ever take over the meta, its a neat little option available for those that want to make it work.
Arena maybe? This current meta has people blowing their mana each turn. Even the control decks are doing that a lot. Not often is there a time when you aren't using your mana each turn. I'm not seeing this be viable without a shift in the meta .
I guess this might be good if you have a couple of turns where you can't or don't spend all your mana. Of course it needs to be in your hand to count, so I don't know. Maybe not amazing.
Swizard and I experimented with a new Untapped Potential deck of my creation, seeing if we can't make some of the newer Choose One cards and whatnot work. After various amounts of tweaking we concluded:
Not a great deck overall, but I enjoyed what few victories I managed lol
