Some positive drafting experience

Just a quick reminder, that Arena still exists and can actually be fun! - Though I understand why you shouldn't spend your gold right now, with the new expansion looming!

After quite some time I decided to give Arena another shot. I actually didn't even know there was a Dual-Class event ongoing still.
Long story short:
I drafted a Warlock/Demon Hunter with Cairne Bloodhoof, Ragnaros the Firelord and Ysera, plus decent early game and quite some draw.
And damn, this deck seems unfair! (Although I don't know the meta). It definitely helps me being reintroduced to Arena.
EDIT: Went 7-3 but I immeditately started the next run. :)

From my experience, Arena is an absolute blast when you're able to draft a deck that isn't just a muddle of things put together - getting 30 not-so-great cards will immediately turn off any novice player.

i would like to play more but i am worried that 2k gold wont be enough for the death knight mini set since its so big
Returned to Arena recently after 2 years, I like the current card pool, but not the Nathria packs for reward. I'll wait for MLK.
I agree. The current rotation of old sets in the Arena is such a breath of fresh air. Especially for an old-timers.
Arena meta rn is great, it reminds me of how HS used to take skill and decisions mattered
This ain't no place for a hero
I got 7, 3 and 7 wins and am on a 8-1 run now. It definitely helps to now all the older cards!
As someone who has been playing since open beta continously, this is quite a throwback!
It's incredibly refreshing to see former powerhouses shine again (Ragnaros the Firelord, Dr. Boom, North Sea Kraken) and all the forgotten mech synergies being playable again, e.g. Spareparts.
You don't get this in Wild for sure :D
I find this game very difficult to level up. Do you have a way to teach me to win fast? I lose very often.

Leveling up is quite 'easy'. But to raise in rank, you need to understand the meta and what you are trying to do with your deck. Plus you need to let go some fancy play style ideas.
Watch Youtubers/Twitch Streamers and copy their decks. Try to understand the matchups of your deck. Then you will succeed.
And depending on your goal, Aggro might be your best chance.
