Big Spell Druid [Theorycraft]
Hi everyone.
As the title suggest, I recently came up with this idea while scrolling down the list of new cards we'll get to play with in a few days.
We've been constantly getting support for such an archetype, and I also tried to make this work (although with another class, Paladin) after Rise of Shadows release, without much success. However, I think this time we've received enough payoff in order to (at least) try this deck.
You want to mulligan for your low cost/synergistic minions (Electrowright and Garden Gnome above all) and close the game with King Phaoris. In case you got bad minions or your opponent cleared the board, you can always Flobbidinous Floop a second wave of high costed stuff.
I even added some broken mech interactions in order to carry you through the mid game and being able to get to turn 10 without being in a dangerous spot.
To be fair, I have doubts regarding some possible inclusions/combo/tech cards, so I'd really like to read your opinion.

This looks like it could have some potential. My only issue with it at the moment is the lack of card draw. Yes, there's Nourish, but it's a bit too slow, especially since you want to save it for use with King Phaoris.
Just my observation from looking at a decklist. When we get a chance to play with it, it might turn out that I'm completely wrong. I hope I am, this looks like fun
Well, you're not completely wrong: during the deck building process I was worried about that too.
In order to deal with this problem, I added some value minions (EVIL Cable Rat and Golden Scarab for example) so that you won't end up in top deck mode too soon.
Two cards I considered to add are Ferocious Howl and Overflow, having the first one bad synergy with your win condition and the second one looking a bit too much of an overkill given that you also have 2 Nourishes.
Consider also that you don't have to save up all your big spells for King Phaoris: obviously the more the better, but even keeping 3 of them is more than decent value.
However, you convinced me: I'll swap a Hidden Oasis (the least useful 6 mana spell) with an overflow in order to get some cycle.
Thanks for the advice!
