Our Favourite Saviors of Uldum Cards - As Spoken by the Community

Last week, Blizzard gave us codes to give away 5x 50 Card Pack bundles for Saviors of Uldum. We decided to make things fun we'd ask everyone what their favourite card from the set was.

Now, all the cards had not been revealed yet, so those that entered early may have had their opinions change.

Diseased Vulture Straddles the line between busted and simply powerful quite nicely. On 6 mana it becomes an azure drake on steroids, and could potentially give neglected cards like spirit bomb a chance to shine. I haven't played much warlock recently, and this will give me a nice reason to revisit the class.

Plague of Murlocs - I love how this card both synergizes with other shaman cards and completely hurts resurrect priest and lopsided decks that I feel are not fun. Murloc decks are fun. This card pushes toward a more fun meta.

So far I'm mostly interested in seeing Scarlet Webweaver played as janky combos in Hunter are always fun. Though i'm still excited to see what the Hunter Quest will end up being, hope it's not another meme like The Marsh Queen, which I love playing, but it's nothing serious of a deck.

    Dying to brokenly synergised fish people on turn 4/5 might be fun for you but it's pretty bullshit to everyone else.

    On topic, I´ve chosen Untapped Potential and am still excited to get that quest and try it, even mostly in Wild.

    After seeing all the cards revealed, my second pick would be Zephrys the Great , because it seems very cool and handy :)

  • I wanted to say thank you to Blizzard and to OoC. It's been a long time since I have won anything from anywhere. I was shocked and surprised to hear that I was among the 5 lucky ones. I appreciate you all.

    To answer the prompt:

    I am still excited about the ramifications of Plague of Murlocs on Wild however I will be eagerly hoping for the "perfect card" in Zephrys the Great. I am still most excited about queuing into a priest rez deck with Plague of Murlocs in hand.

  • Congrats all. Frightened Flunky is one of my favourites 😁 it's just acommon but I think it could be a big part of an upcoming deck.

    One more thing for the future - or two - I would write a schedule so until when should the winners be announced (so no one would be mad if it would be till Mon tomorrow:) and second...some rules who can win - I hoped you will appriciate these orginal ones\best effort - I understand it was simple draw:( and I had prepered first time in my life (the only one in the comments I think) THE GIF to power the contest up :D

  • Still think, Anka is a cool card one of my favorite in this expansion. But now, ofc, best of the best is Zephrys the Great maybe, it will see low in play in standart now, but it s really something new, it s really great game design and not typical stats plus op keywords in one place (i m looking on you Zilliax). Insta craft day 1 in golden, if it will be not so great coz of reno decks can be mediocre, still no regrets.

     

    Also, i see rating system are now working. I recommend you in future or now vote on card pages, coz of, we love compendiums and more stats - more representative it is.

  • Thanks to Flux, Frosty, and the team. This is a great community and you can see all of the hard work that is put into this site. The whole reveals season for Saviors of Uldum has just been first class on Out of Cards (as it was before at the "other place we do not speak of now"), and i'm looking forward to enjoying many more here as the best place for everything Hearthstone related. Thanks guys! Edit: Got caught up in my excitement for OoC - I voted for Anka, the Buried and would definitely not change my vote. Anka HYPE!

      Same. I voted for the discard-1-get-2-copies-back card, but Zephris IS this expansions most interesting and best card
