Biggest mistake is giving this twerp the Demon tribal tag. That alone is terrifying, not to mention it's a Twisting Nether with legs. What I'm curious about is how they will work in what the twisting nether is... will it count for things like Lakkari Sacrifice or Neeru Fireblade? Or only things that are removed via his ability or Twisting Nether Or even perhaps to declare that some demons are from twisting nether and some are from the void... there are some seriously unanswered questions here.
Befitting his previous title as the pantheon's champion, sargeras here is pretty good, in fact he might actually turn out to be the best titan in this set.
Summoning two 3/2 imps every turn is pretty much going to kill any and all control decks by itself. Giving these imps +2 health and taunt ensures that your opponent cant beat you without massively outvaluing your deck (something that's unlikely against late game warlock) or have burn damage in hand.
In short summary, play sargeras, choose legion invasion! and the game might as well be over. Sargeras doesn't need to snowball, he wins outright with but one choice. On top of that all, he has 12 health.
The only downside is the fact that he's only ever good if you trigger that battlecry, meaning Dirty Rat can actually counter him.
Well, this looks pretty nuts. I assume the portal will be permanent, and killing this won't stop the imps from coming for the rest of the game. I assume the first ability works like Twisting Nether as well.
FINALLY, Sargares is FINALLY in hearthstone. Me and many people have been waiting a long time for this day. So lets see how good i think Sargeras is.
First thing first, the abilities.
INFERNO!: Probably the option your picking if sargeras lives a turn, because you probably pikc Legion Invasion! most of the time... Assuming you have the board space for those minions.
Legion Invasion!: 9/10 times your probably picking this option. Summoning infinite 3/4s with taunt is very good, and basically wins the game against most aggro decks... Which you were probably winning against if you were able to play Sargeras. And against Control this also wins you the game, just because it's INFINITE minions, and 4 health is a LOT harder to remove than 2 health.
To The Void: Twisting Nether but Sargeras doesn't get destroyed by it. VERY good effect. Twisting Nether still sees play, and this option is Twisting Nether on a stick. Very good.
The one problem i have with sargeras is that by running him, you no longer can run a Voidcaller package, because you need to use the battlecry otherwise Sargeras is useless. And because of that, he's weak to Dirty Rat which is in the core set.
But despite those problems i Hope am sure Sargeras will see a LOT of play. Especially when facing control priests, because they will copy your Sargeras a LOT and eventually those priest will summon 3/10 imps every turn. (if not bigger) And Sargeras is a very anticipated card, which people have been waiting years for. So Even if he's bad and lowers winrate, people will keep including him into their decks because it's f-ing Sargeras.
Also i wonder if some aggro/imp warlocks might also use him, because Sargeras will summon infinite imps. Might be too slow though.
Edit: Thank you Sargeras for the free packs, for the burning legion!
RNG is only fun as long as there is a 50/50 chance of getting something really good or trash level of bad. If RNG always results in something good, then it's not fun.
