Just no. Banking 2 mana on forge is hard enough. Waiting until this card is on board before banking? That's just ludicrous.
Unless of course you somehow think a card like this can actually survive past its first turn. Unfortunately, that's a highly unlikely scenario. But I feel that the one thing that condemn this card harder than anything else is that lack of vanilla stats. That 1 extra health really could have saved this card from never ever seeing play.
I guess you spend 5 mana to play this and forge some card on the same turn since it will die if you try to wait a turn to forge something, then you get an already forged copy of a card without paying the 2 mana. I think the forge payoff might have to be amazing for this to be worth it.
Hmm. So this is ONLY good if there are enough good forge cards. From all the forge cards i've seen, that being all of them. I don't think there are enough to make Ignis, the Eternal Flame worth it, BUT not enough to make this worth it.
RNG is only fun as long as there is a 50/50 chance of getting something really good or trash level of bad. If RNG always results in something good, then it's not fun.
