Hearthstone's 2024 Year Gets a Teaser Expansion Image ( outof.games )

They didn't do one of these last year so it's great to see it return!

What do you all think the expansions are going to be?

I'm thinking that right-most one might finally be that space set. Been such a popular concept with card creators for years, and there's a lot of potential you can do with it.

Custom Hearthstone expansion, Gladiators of Brawl'Gar, 183 cards! https://outof.games/realms/hearthstone/8gd/gladiators-of-brawlgar-full-145-card-custom-expansion/

    "SPPPPAACCCEEEE" - Space Sphere, 2024

I'm really hoping the first one is a "toy" set, like Toy Story but for Hearthstone. That would be a lot of fun.
Edit: Calling my shot: it's going to be called "The Tiny Toys of Tinkertown"! :D

Alright so it's only fair that I also give my predictions for the year's expansions.

First, the cupcake is confusing. Cogs, a toy plane, a shield-looking-thing, those are all easily indications of Gnomes and Mechs which would be an amazing theme. If they want to use this year as a celebration of Hearthstone, it would make sense to do a huge throwback to Goblins vs Gnomes right off the bat. The cupcake could just be the fact they are celebrating things. My prediction: Bring on the Gnomes and Mechs. Maybe goblins and murlocs too, a "short stuff" expansion. The wood backdrop could indicate the expansion is going to have a tavern theme.

Second, what are we doing in a desert with an oasis. League of Explorers are one of Hearthstone's most beloved set of characters, so they are almost certainly going to be involved. Location? We've got The Stagnant Oasis in The Barrens, but we've already been there recently and it isn't a sandy desert. We've also got Uldum's Oasis of Vir'sar and Vir'naal Oasis. Saviors of Uldum is old enough at this point they could maybe drop in again. The expansion was well received and again, if we're celebrating the good in Hearthstone Uldum would make a damn good choice.

Though, World of Warcraft is doing something with Pirates soon, and it would be very cool for Blizzard to also do something with pirates in Hearthstone. Leeroy back in the core set, gimme a new patches! Screw it, let's yolo this and guess that we're going to see a Pirate expansion.

Third, we've got the cosmos. I immediately start to think of Algalon, the Titans, Ulduar. Uldum, if that is what we were getting in expansion 2, would play into that very well and if Blizzard wants to do thematics in the mini-set for the new Uldum set, it would be a perfect time to tell a story to jump into Expansion 3.

The third expansion it feels silly to be talking about Ulduar with TITANS and the Fall of Ulduar mini-set recently coming out. Or maybe there's more to tell there.

Or.. maybe night elves? Tyrande's card back matches pretty well...

I don't have a really good prediction for number 3. The Celestial Steed mount was released in World of Warcraft during the end year of Wrath of the Lich King, and the steed is really a pegasus... The mount also just returned to the game as an item in the Trading Post. I don't know, Blizzard is probably trying to throw people off with the last image so they don't repeat the obvious Alterac Valley.

First one - seems to be related to rockets and such. As a WOW area i'd say Tanaris, Stonetalon Mountains or that gnome city area in Northrend (K3 - storm peaks?).

Second one - seems to be related to pirates and sea shells, so i'd wager on the east coast of Tanaris.

Third one - looks like something from Moonglade, or something from another WoW expansion that i never played. Yet, it may be related to lunar stuff (druids, lunar festival). Not really seeing the space theme tbh.

Making predictions late, so obviously we know about Whizbang's Workshop.

Given that the portrait in the WW big bundle is a Patches portrait, I was thinking it could be a clue to the second one, which could be a Pirate themed adventure.  Maybe a group of pirates, or a few different pirate factions, are going to a desert isle in search of treasure, only to find the isle is overrun by murlocs!  So you get a bit of a throwback to their first main expansion by calling it Pirates vs Murlocs!

The final one, something with Elune, so finally a Night Elf focused expansion.

Quick!  Someone give me something clever to write here.

Flux, I have trouble finding the forums since the site was updated.  But on the front page there is an article from a few days ago featuring a picture of Harth Stonebrew that doesn't link to anything.  It says "Reuse" as the article title, so it makes me feel like maybe you guys meant to post an article about Harth's "Iconic Hands" and accidentally put up a link to an article template or something.

Just wanted to make sure someone on the team is aware so you could get it fixed.

Quick!  Someone give me something clever to write here.

@Thonson The original forum structure is dead: if you want to post something, you can go to the appropriate game realm and create a thread that way. That said, we do see the "Reuse" Harth article and we're looking into why you can see it haha. Thank you for lookin' out for us :)
