Hakkar card back/favorite back?
Created this thread for two reasons:
1. Is it just my local meta or is the Hakkar card back still what maybe 10% of everyone else's opponents use as well? Obviously it was everywhere 6 months ago when it was released, but I'm surprised at how prevalent it still is - it's definitely the one single back I see most often by a wide margin. Just me or are others seeing this too? DO you think it's because it's a true favortie or just people being too lazy/not caring enough to manually change their favorite after it was auto-changed to Hakkar?
2. While we're on the subject, I'm curious how does everyone else use cardbacks? I like to find a back that fits the deck i.e. Machine Dreams (https://outof.cards/hearthstone/card-backs/110-machine-dreams) for my Mech Warrior, VanCardback (https://outof.cards/hearthstone/card-backs/94-vancardback) for Burgle Rogue, Moonwell (https://outof.cards/hearthstone/card-backs/96-moonwell) for Quest Druid, etc. So do others have a different back for each deck, one favorite they use for everything, is still using the basic back because they could not care less?

I could not care what my cardback is, and I just leave it on random.
Favorite Card: Vulpera Scoundrel
Dust Wishlist: Zephrys the Great, Siamat, High Priest Amet, Psychopomp, & Plague of Death
Well i personaly haven't seen the Hakkar card back in a while now.
My favourite Cardback so far is the Lemon Cardback - but right now i use the Random Option :)
Challenge me ... when you're ready to duel a god!
I used to only use the Frostmourne card back from KotFT prepurchase. Now I just use random. 99% of the time I don't even pay attention to what card back is being used by myself or my opponent.
I also use cardbacks based on my deck's theme (Blizzard pls gib Pirate cardback, I don't like using Kul'tiras in Rogue)
I tried having fun once.
It was awful.
I use random by default, but I often like to pick a card pack that has a flavor to fit in with the deck I'm making if I can think of anything fitting.
Official Lorekeeper and Spinner of Tavern Tales
They did already, unfortunately I miss it, too.
-=alfi=-
yeah that's what I mean, they should just do what the were teasing all along and bring back old cardbacks for tavern brawls
I tried having fun once.
It was awful.
It got kind of annoying seeing a bunch of people complaining about how special their older cardbacks were when the Ragnaros one was reintroduced. Some people really need to calm down
Who needs consistency when you could have fun?
Kibler or Frodan said the Thrill of Victory and Power Core card backs were rare because, well, how many have attended Blizzard-run Hearthstone live events?
I've used those two and the Dalaran Flame (TeSPA collegiate tournament I went to see) as well, but I generally click "random."
Lemonade remains my favorite card back, but I am no longer STUCK on a deck because of the meta. I hope. (Big Spell Mage, from Witchwood through Rastakhan's Rumble. Let's not have anymore swarm aggro metas, please).
/I see the old website hasn't updated the card back page ... or Google didn't direct me to the latest one
//Still see the occasional Hakkar card back. Wish I could use my Golden Hakkar card I received.
Wish they made a spider themed card back. I’m still surprised they haven’t made one yet
Does anyone else like to play mind games with their cardback? Pirate cardback on your dead man's hand warrior, jade lotus cardback on your Aviana OTK druid, that kind of thing :) It's not so applicable in standard these days since they're not really making cardbacks for archetypes anymore but it was fun while it lasted
Playing a lot of Reno Mage rn, so I just use the Heroic Dalaran Heist Cardback.
My favourite that comes to mind would have to be the Kul’tiras cardback
This ain't no place for a hero
I haven't done this, but that's a pretty funny idea.
What can i do, i like to eat and drink xaxaxa :)

Legend card back for me... I feel it's the only card back, apart from heroic Nax, that was difficult to get.
I love the Hogger card back!!! :D :D :D I don't know, maybe it is because I believe it really suits me... :P :P :P
Oh, and I personally still see the Hakkar card back approx. at the same rate OP suggested (around 10% of my games). I think it is more about they don't giving a shit about which one they are using than anything else...
my favorite card backs are eye of cthun and yogg-saron one
because i like old gods
Probably cause lazy,.
I use the random card back for having over 100 card backs
