Deck lists according to rank

Well, the game certainly is not rigged ... simply just a bad day or loosing streak - it happens - usualy if i lose 3 times in a row i take a break. Pick a strong deck you like and stick with it because this way it is way easier to learn the meta and know what to play when and think about the plays the opponent could make the next turn etc.

I personaly can't speak for the wild meta because i only play standard but like i said it usualy helps if you want to climb up - stick with one deck. If you play consistantly and take a break now and then rank 5 should be no problem.

Maybe take a look at the top wild decks on this site or check HS Replay to find the right deck for you/your playstyle :)

Literally any deck works at rank 7-9. Especially in wild.

Mech paladin can easily cruise you to legend. This game isn't rigged. You're either unlucky or bad. Perhaps a combination of both.

With that said, secret mage is favored against shamans and ridiculously strong against the rest of the playing field as well. So just play that, I guess.

If you win it's skill, if you loose than the game must be rigged. Seems a bit flawed to me. HS has a very heavy RNG factor and draw/matchup are just a portion of it. Sometimes you're lucky, sometimes you're not but that's is a totally different matter than making claim about the whole game being scripted to stop someone from winning.

Around rank 7 on Wild you can reach 5 with amost everything decent (at last Tier 1 or 2), so go for what you feel more comfortable with. Maybe Secret Mage as an extra edge at this time, so you may wanna try it out.

    Hi,

i recently went from rank 15 to 7 in wild using mech pala and mech hunter. I had 80% winrate.
Now that i'm to rank 7, i lose every game. So, now i'm at rank 9.
It's frustrating knowing that this game is so rigged it has to "change" the cards you draw, well my entire hunter deck is made of cost 1/2 but as always i draw, first turn, only the 5/5 and the cost 4. And it happens just now that i'm there, otherwise i didn't have 80% :)

    Cool game.

Anyway, at rank 7/8/9 to 5, what decks you feel to use? I encounter manly even shaman, or control shaman, or aggro totem shaman :) 9 times in a row shaman :)

In wild you can use whatever you like, but your meta matters a lot. And you can't really expect to find a "standard" meta, exept when some decks are really dominant (pirate warrior, big priest). Maybe you just find some negative match-up. It happens. Or maybe is you that has become tilted and don't play well as you are able to. It happens a lot too.

I suggest to you to take a break whenever a win streak ends, and to play a (fast) deck that you like instead of looking for better recipes.

Please don't say the game is rigged without some very good evidence rather than paranoia/confirmation bias.

It would also be good if the reasoning made sense.  Team 5 don't for some reason hate you and really love your opponents and fix the games accordingly.

    All generalizations are false.

When I'm not sure if my deck is good enough, I just record my wins/loses on paper, of course I also use a deck tracker, but on paper I can note down special things that happened, such as: bad starting hand, opponent was incredibly lucky with x y or z... That gives you a better understanding of why are you losing and gives you pointers to what to do: teching your deck, switching to a different deck if the meta is unfavorable... That is always helpful.

I'm curious about all those "rigged game" claims. Why would Blizzard want you to lose? Happy players keep playing, frustrated players leave the game >> less money for Blizzard.

    The pleasure is mine.

My last standard decks: nothing special right now.

Exactly - and if it would be "rigged" this way that would mean it is "rigged" to win for the opponent ... ?!?!

Most people who say the game is rigged are just salty because they lost a few games :)

It's pretty common for the ranked ladder to be stratified into several mini-metas, with decks popping up a lot more or less frequently at different ranks. For example, people tend not to play nearly as many serious control decks at lower ranks, because playing fast games will result in a faster climb, even if it costs you some wins here and there.

If you're climbing and you suddenly hit a series of losses, sometimes it's worth swapping your deck for something more suited for what the opposition is bringing. That zoolock isn't nearly as good if you keep facing control warriors, after all. Other times if you hit a plateau it's because you're being paired with players that match your level of skill, which means you need to improve your play to progress.
