Finally got to play as a new hero!  It was Elise and she is aMEIzing!  Being able to discover an important minion by far is super useful!  Hurray for Elise and druidism!

I have played three rounds of battlegrounds since the update and I have seen all of the new heroes except for Elise.

I can't wait to try her out!

*edit* I just got offered elise. I only had time to play a half-run (darn other things that take up my time!). I was playing beasts and her hero power is super useful. Discovering a minion of a spesific tier means that you can usually find just what you are looking for. I was able to discover a Scavenging Hyena and a Rat Pack. I had a pretty good board when I had to leave and I imagine that if I had kept going I would have done well.

Haven't got one yet, but so far Brann looks insane, Finley is meh and Elise - I'm not sure what she does. Sindragossa usually was dead below 4, so probably not too good either.

Edit: looked up Elise - not bad, but not crazy either. About rotated heroes - Millificent won't be missed.

I've had multiple runs with Brann, who is great, especially if you can transition into an amalgam-buff strategy with battlecries and the card Brann. If nothing else, he gives you an easy first few turns if you get a battlecry minion in your opening pool.

Elise is quite tough to use and evaluate because you still have to pay the price of a minion to make use of her discover-effect. You could think of it as a free reroll in the sense that you get to look at three new cards but you have to buy one.

I've only been offered Finley once, and Brann was the other option then. Have yet to see a Sindragosa, but I bet she's stronger than people give her credit for. I freeze quite a lot so I'm sure I'd benefit from the hero power.

I also wont miss Millificent, mainly because I thought she was boring. And frankly not even that strong in a meta where mechs were top-tier and you had to compete for literal scraps with 2-3 other players.

I'll play a tribal hero now and again but I much prefer heroes that don't tie me to one specific tribe.

Yeah, Sindragosa is how you thought, she is not perfect but great in a good player's hand. She is more like Dancin' Daryl, harder to play but rewards greatly if you know what you are doing. I liked her. I use freeze oftenly and her hero power is really useful for me.

I don't think she is as bad as someone above gave her credit for. I had won with her twice and placed on top 4 three times.

Brann feels like he's probably an S or A tier hero.
Elise is probably in the group right behind him. Strong, but can get bullied early.
I've only played Sindragosa once. I think she's probably pretty strong, but I need more practice.
Finley seems like he is an easy dumpster tier hero.

Got two more games in with Sindragosa. Won them both (@ 5400 MMR) She seems VERY powerful. Harder to play than Brann, maybe. But potentially better.

That's the score-level that you see after a match.

Elise is great for two reasons:

    1. On turns where you have just enough coins to level up and buy one minion, you can get a minion from the new tier, rather than having to buy a minion from the old tier first
    2. Next time you play, look how many minions you're offered from your current tier on each roll---at higher tiers its frequently 0 and almost never more than 1. Elise basically gives a roll of three minions all at your current tier, which is insane compared to what you are usually offered.

I'd say Brann is A, Sindra and Elise are B. For S tier my personal candidates are Deryl, Yogg and Curator.

I've picked Sindra twice and finished #1 both times. The key is not to level up as quickly, but to amass stats on lower-tier minions and catch up later.

I have only had the chance to pick new heroes twice since the update, 2 options kinda sucks when new heroes are here. Both times it was Finley and both times I finished 3rd.

Alleycats and Tidehunters are essential in the early game to get as many uses of the Hero Power buffs as possible.

Demons are a lot better now, or is it just me?

Finally had the chance to play as Brann for the 1st time vs my 3rd with Sir Finley and I finished 2nd for that game. this was yesterday but I couldn't post til now.

Also I just now finished my first run with Sindragosa. I ended up 2nd in the run. Sin plays similarly to AFK, you should freeze turn 1 to get buffs going. I was able to freeze both 1 Wrath Weaver & 1 Voidwalker. Starting turn 2 with a 4/4 Wrath & a 2/4 Void is preety gud.
