[Battlegrounds] Mechanics - Asynchronous Matches and Draft Phase

I’m curious how the draft phase mechanics work for Battlegrounds given it appears matches don’t all take place at the same time.
It often appears that people are drafting or upgrading their decks while I have a match in progress.
Is this giving them more frequent chances to snag cards from the limited tavern tier pools? Or is this balanced in some sort of timelocked format to keep the matches and drafts spaced out and balanced?

Some people stomp the other guy faster, so they return to the Tavern faster... which is kinda weird honestly. Other exploits I found were quitting and coming back at the start of the battle. You can skip the whole battle, so you have like an extra 10 seconds which is pretty cool I guess, but not very useful.

I think the times in this mode are sometimes too short or too long not in between, specially latter turns sometimes you cycle like 10 battle cries in one turn and sometimes you buy 3 units and quickly place them or just tavern up I think I would rather have extra turn time rather than too little though..

... Cut the animation time!!! Idk how people even play this on mobile..
Getting those extra seconds early don't matter, but late game they are very valuable.. So maybe if you know you need to do a long turn.. Add a "speed up" button
Agreed, they need to do something about the animations. I believe they already said they would, but dont know if i remember it correctly.
@OP: yes, i believe that if you finish quickly, you are already in the Tavern Phase while someone else might still be in Combat Phase. You can clearly see this by tavern tiern upgrade icons poping up on the sidebar or making a triple minion at other player's portraits. That is also why you sometimes have a very long turn, because you are waiting for someone to finish their combat and only then the timer for Tavern Phase begins imho.
Does it give you more time to snatch some minions over your opponent? Maybe. But i dont think its a problem in the long run. There is a lot of RNG and strategy involved in how and when you get to some specific minions and it is usually more influenced by how quickly can you Tier up than if you can finish match a few seconds earlier.
One thing im not sure about, but i think it does work is, if you freeze minions in your Tavern Phase, that essentially locks them, for you (obviously), but they are also temporarily removed from the Minion Pool for your opponens. At least iv never had it happen to me that i would lock a board and one of those minions was missing the next turn.
