A tricky condition to play around - I imagine there'll be lots of times where you have to trigger the sidequest with sub-optimal boards. But it only costs 1 mana and has the potential to be busted on the right kind of board. With the hero power and cards that summon multiple minions like Sky Claw, you can see how this could scale super quickly. Paladin is getting some cleverly-designed cards this expansion that create different types of interactions.
didn't we had a secret with similar effect? so which card from even pally u will kick out to make space for this one? i'm not seeing this card in competitive play
I think in wild adding this to odd paladin can be pretty powerful sometimes—comparable to the time [Hearthstone Card (Never Surrender) Not Found] was added to the deck against early game board removals. This is more controlled by the player itself, which means the card can be used with more optimization.
takes too much setup for the opponent to mess things up when the counter is on 4. too predictable, can be played around relatively easy. i don't see this working
Great, support for non-existing paladin deck. These forced archetypes never works and synergy with Sky Claw is a joke. In wild on the other hand is at least hope with Muster for Battle and other cards that vomits dudes.
What makes this good is that you get to control when to trigger this out. So it can easily cheat one mana off from a different turn, and a +1+1 to the board is not to be ignored.
However, most likely its just slower than you'd expect, and your opponent can make decisions that limit the effect of this card.

Bonkers in Odd Paladin.
This might cause some problems in Wild. Odd Paladin doesn't need more ways to buff their board. Yet here we are...

This card is actually good
Paladin never had trouble summoning dudes, now it can summon dudes and buff them later!
Wild will especially love it, I think.
I don’t think Sir Finley is allowed to knight people, unless he is secretly the queen…? :D
Also, pretty nice for a Token Paladin Deck
i think swarm paladin, will be the worst aggro deck since oddpaladin.
Just play this and Tip the Scales .

synergy with sky claw
seems the first good sidequest so far, you can summon 5 minios on the same turn and already get the buff
It is actually pretty good if you play couple of token generators in one turn.
It can fit different paladin decks. You can control when you activate it so it's very flexible. The downside is that it doesn't start in your hand.
REPORTING FOR DUTY
TO BATTLE
God this card makes me want token paladin in standard again, I just wanna summon a buncha recruits and buff them up
It's easy enough to complete for an aggressive deck, too.
Will probably see play
great with sky claw
meh...whatever. Another useless card for imaginary archetypes
