Card Nerf - Fiendish Rites

Fiendish Rites is having its mana cost increased to 4, from 3, in a patch later this week.
How do you feel about this change?
Once these changes are live, players will be able to disenchant the adjusted cards for their full Arcane Dust value for two weeks.

Welcome to the site!
Did not expect this one and I think it really won't matter much as this is still the best play on curve after dragonblight cultist. But I guess you can't play this twice or with cultist before turn 4 anymore, so veiled worshipper won't be active but that's really fine.
This is....puzzling.
I played Galakrond Zoo quite a bit at launch and it just doesn't seem that strong...I mean, not compared to anything else.
This is also the weirdest piece to hit...like, surely, Veiled Worshipper is the powerhouse of the deck.
It's already a pretty clunky card that only really gives you an edge against very passive decks. If this was +1/+1 but right now I fail to see the point. This is just a worse Dreamway Guardians for twice the cost whenever you're not ahead.
I'm not huge on Galakrond Zoo, but I was at the very least happy to see it not suck completely so seeing it having its legs snapped right away feels kind of...bad.
Maybe I'M just underestimating the deck though.
I tried having fun once.
It was awful.
Why would they hit that Card? Do they expect Gala-Zoolock to become to powerful after the Nerfs?
Or maybe the Devs want the Meta to shift more towards control. Wild guess, but the Nerfs do seem like it to me.

Surprisingly, this was actually the best card in the deck. I didn't realize it until I tried to figure out why it was nerfed.
That said, it wasn't the best card in the deck in the way Ancharr or Apothecary were. It's win% was in line with things like Flame Imp. But I guess they had to target something.
Did they look at cards with high win rate when played? cause it's like nerfing leeroy, or malygos the card has a high win rate but only cause it's mostly used as finisher.. not a big fan of this nerf.
What a bizarre nerf. Feels like one they threw in just to placate the angry galakrond shamans out there: "see, you're not the only Galakrond getting hosed."
Surprised with the nerf as well.
Having playing played some games with and against Gala Zoo, playing this turn 3 didn't seem overpowered (compared to say Scion or Necrium Apothecary). Sure if you flood the board then drop this by turn 3, it's pretty powerful but that's Zoo's version of a highroll.
It does indirectly nerf Veiled Worshiper though by making it harder to activate.
This is totally weaksauce. Seriously. At least, 4 mana for 2 2/1's? That is hard for me to understand. If this was a Rogue card, I could understand that since it's cost could be reduced by Preparation. But 4 mana for 1 1/1 imps and +1 attack in Warlock... not that hardcore. This is seriously confusing.
I'm kind of like everyone else. Really don't see the point in this one. Almost every other card hit I can definitely see as being a fair change, but honestly, Galakrond Warlock isn't so powerful that I think this was really needed. Maybe Blizz is seeing some things that I'm not, but we'll have to see how this impacts Warlock's win rate.
I think the only reason this was nerfed, was to stealth nerf Veiled Worshipper to be less likely to play on-curve on turn 4. I'm not sure why they didn't just nerf Veiled Worshipper to 5 mana. If I wore an Aluminum Foil Hat, I might say that's because of the rarity difference between the cards.
This is the only nerf that feels weird to me. Galakrond probably was problematic so they wanted to nerf it inb4 I guess.
Veiled Worshipper is not the powerhouse of the deck, in fact when looking at the drawn winrate of the most popular Galakrond Zoo deck on HSReplay Fiendish Rites is at #1, while Veiled Worshipper is among the bottom cards. So, it makes sense to nerf Fiendish Rites when wanting to keep the deck in control. While I agree that it's not the most oppressive deck at the moment, it might become so after the nerfs to the other decks hit by this patch. So it feels more like a pre-emptive nerf to me, that won't destroy the deck.
Man!! That sucks!!
My C'Thun/Galakrond Warlock is now even worse!!
