Rafaam's Hand treasure bugged or working correctly?

So yea I have done a few runs now where this has been the best treasure choice, sometimes twice.
From reading the card you would expect the enemy hero to take 2 damage per turn per copy, except this never happens.
No matter how many copies they have in hand they still only take 2 damage per turn. Is this correct? can someone explain this interaction to me and why it works this way and not the way the logic dictates on reading the cards
I have screen shots but not sure how to upload them on here :/

At least so far it has been only a visual bug and your opponent does actually take the intended 4 damage. Have you taken a look at your opponent's health changes to see if it's a bigger bug than this?
I did not check with 2 copies doing 4 damage but can confirm 4 copies definitely does not do 8 damage per turn.
I've played with this treasure a lot recently and so far - the bug is only visual. Every curse card procs immidiately, and seperately, so it only shows that it did 2 damage - but it definitely does 2 per card.
With 2 copies it does 4 damage per turn - I've literally just played a run with it before coming here. The only run I've had where I gave my opponent 4 curses happened when wing 3 was released, and there were some patches since then, so I can't confirm that 4 cards really do 8 damage since they may have messed something up along the way - but back then it definitely did.
Did you maybe play against some specific hero or with a weird anomaly? I don't know if there are some which can affect the curse cards, but there seem to be so many combinations...
No none of the hero powers were affecting it, it was wing one where it is pretty basic. I am sure you are right about 2 copies though if you have literally just done it. 4 copies though didn't do 8 damage a turn to the queen wogtaggle and she held them all for about 8 turns.
Will pay more attention next time so I can confirm one way or another
Weird... well I guess I'll try to reproduce it if I get a chance, but it's a pretty rare combination to get. If the 2 cards work but the 4 don't - I wonder what screws with the game's logic there - the progression should be pretty consistant and linear...
I noticed that visually it looks like they're only taking one tick of 2 damage but if you compare the before/after life totals it's clearly dealing four.
I was avoiding that treasure cause I thought it was bugged.. good to know it's still probably one of the weaker ones though..
it only cheats 4 mana and that mana cheated is spent on 2 mediocre cards.
And somehow it's still the best option sometimes lol
I dont know if recent updates bugged it so that it doesnt deal the correct amount of damage, but i did pick 2 of them in the past and every boss got 4 copies of Curse of Rafaam and they were gettin dealt 8 damage per turn, even tho the animation only showed "-2", but the correct amount was subtracted from their health.
I find the treasure worth it, if you can manage to get two of them. Early bosses just straight up die to it before they can get rid of it, but you can beat early bosses with literally anything so thats not really a selling point, but with later bosses it deals decent amount of damage to them (so kinda comparable to [Hearthstone Card (Fly By) Not Found], but you dont have to wait to draw it and play it) and it also gives you few turns worth of tempo, since they need to spend 8 mana to get rid of the Curses. Depending on how your deck is built, that can be an amazing advantage.
Im not gonna say that this treasure is one of the best, but it certainly is not bad.

Yea I have the same thoughts on this treasure too.
