Blizzard has officially announced the Year of the Phoenix for Hearthstone! The new game director for Hearthstone, Ben Lee, gives us the juicy details in the announcement video. Within, we have a full roadmap for the year and the usual expansion teaser.

  • Howdy, team. Would you guys consider making an article with all of the cards which dust refunds can be garnered from? That would be very helpful!

  • In Youtube videos of streamers Phase one have all things unlocked. No "secret" things.
    Also the same is on their own Official Site - on roadmap with 3 phases some are locked in Phase 1.

    The locked ones are "New Class: Demon Hunter" and "Free Demon Hunter Deck"

     

    • It was locked due to the next video - demon hunter announcement

  • Demon Hunter is 1st expansion...Purple stuff is the void? Yellow I think is the sunwell...

    • yellow one is darkmoon faire

      • Nah it Dark Moon Faire's going to be a thing it'd be Purple

         

        • It looks just like the new Darkmoon Faire Card Back, it makes sense.

    • Green is ashes of outland (+ Black temple adventure?)

      Purple could be netherstorm or tempest keep (makes sense since we are in the year of phoenix now)

      and Yellow, I agree with you, Quel'danas Isle + sunwell plateau

  • Only one adventure and it'S in Phase 1. Kind of interesting and also means less expensive expansions (hopefully)

    • Some of those :spell locked" slots could still be some sort of solo content.  But yeah, hopefully cheaper despite more cards per set now...  At least I assume there will be more than 135 anyway with the new class.  Duplicate protection helps with that some.

      It means they don't know what it is, which means those COULD be the Adventure for those phases.

      • More likely it's something they aren"t ready to reveal.  The first time we saw the image the first green one was locked.  Now it say Demon Hunter class there.
