How do you unlock Wild format?

So for the first time in 5 years I decided to switch to another server. But after completing the training mode and unlocking all the heroes (even demon hunter) I tried to make some wild cards but I could't craft any. The game didn't let me choose any wild set to craft cards from.

Do I have to reach level 20 with all classes? Or worse, do I havo to complete the rookie's ladder?

You have to get to rank 25, then you will get an Old Gods pack which will give you C'thun and the wild format.

As far as I remember you have to:
 - Complete the new player ranks and get to rank bronze 10 (which used to be rank 25)
 - Own a wild card.
    > As stated by KANSAS, your first Old Gods pack will also give you the legendary C'thun as a bonus, but I'm pretty sure any wild card/pack works.
    > Alternatively, you should still be able to claim the "Knights of the Frozen Throne" adventure for free by navigating to the out-of-game Blizzard Store (shop.battle.net), and simply searching for "Knights of the Frozen Throne adventure", the intro to this rewards you with a Legendary Hero from that set.



Also: From a quick read online, you might need every hero to be level 10, not entirely sure on that part though, but this should already be done by the time you get to bronze 10.

ALso, you need 1 hero at level 20 to unlock Tavern Brawl.

Ok. Opening wild pack will not work because I have the ones that blizz gives you when you vote for your Champion and they say "Complete training mode".

I'll try to redeem Frozen Throne's adventure and see what happens.

Normally you used to craft a wild common, that would unlock it for you, You set your filter to "all cards" then click crafting and craft one wild common

ODD BUG that I found while trying out the "new player experience" post ladder changes and Outlands release.

** The first thing I did after doing the six tutorial matches was go unlock Demon Hunter.  This oddly enough unlocked ALL classes, Tavern Brawl, and Arena for me on the new player account!  Because Illidan starts at lvl 20.


As for Wild, once you get out of the beginner ranks, buy a Wild pack, usually Old Gods for C'Thun.  Should unlock.

OK so I finished the first wing of Frozen Throne and unlocked the Dead Knight. It's written on the card that I must be at bronze 10 to play it. So I guess the new way to get to wild is completing the rookie's ladder. TNX
