Yeah, my statement was very general because I felt like they were so new. You can't show me a card that cost 5+ mana that does nothing to the board, unless that card itself is a win condition.
Every competitive card does something to the board immediately.
I don't feel shitty at all telling you that's hogwash. The strongest deck in the game right now runs cards like Irondeep Trogg and Peasant. Every Mage deck runs cards that do nothing but draw. Buff Paladin runs Knight of Anointment, which does nothing but draw. The Warlock and Mage quest rewards do nothing to the board -- not even Taunt -- but they have been some of the strongest win conditions in Hearthstone.
That's the second keyword that behaves in other ways than I would have expected in less than a week, and I've been playing since 2015.
(The other being Freeze, which actually only "consumes" one attacking opportunity. Example: My opponent had a minion on board on their turn which was ready to attack, but they chose not to do so. They proceeded to play Snowfall Guardian, which froze said minion. When their turn was over, the minion immediately thawed and was able to attack again on my opponent's next turn. That would not have been possible if they had attacked with it on the intital turn of the sequence. At least, that's what I've gathered from more experienced players on Discord.)
Can you cancel the free trial after taking the rewards? to stretch the 7 days long enough to cover until September? I wouldn't think that's possible, but if it is that's basically giving everything away for free.
Subscription to prime is 6 bucks per month. Just curious, is there anyone here who would spend 6 bucks just to get these things?
Prime Gaming is free to those who have an amazon prime subscription. (This includes Amazon Prime Video, as well as Prime Delivery, and Prime Gaming). To me that is worth it because my wife and I order so much stuff on Amazon anyways. I wouldn't subscribe to prime gaming alone, but because it's baked into my normal prime membership it's fine and I enjoy the perks it gives me on Twitch.
Still the In-Game description reads "Immune characters can't be damaged", which is true but falls short when considering what immune effectively means.
I'm a beta player and I feel this keyword is way too complex. Blizzard, please nerf, I'm confused!
But seriously: This is not what the keyword describes at all!
Immuneis an ability that prevents characters from receiving any damage, and prevents the opponent from specifically targeting them with any type of action. However, it does not prevent destroy, restore Health, or other non-damaging effects on Immune characters, which can still be affected by randomly or automatically targeted effects, including area of effect.
Immune means permanent divine shield and permanent stealth. Immune minions cannot be target at all by your opponent. Think more along the lines of the keyword Protection in MtG. You essentially cannot interact with your opponent's immune minion directly; only cards that don't need a target can actually affect immune minions (e.g. Twisting Nether).
It definitely could be made a lot clearer, but at least it didn't cost you the win.
This is going to sound so shitty, but I think you have that opinion because you do not have experience. There are a billion and one stronger cards that will never see play, and all have the same flaw as this card. It does nothing the turn it is played. Every competitive card does something to the board immediately.
So if I understand this correctly, it will alternate between playing a Naga and a spell to refresh two mana crystals? So far there aren't many options in the 2-mana or less range for Naga, so you won't be able to go on forever, but this looks like it could be interesting.
Its kinda like Abyssal Wave, in that both cards' viability is largely determined by the performance of the abyssal curses. The problem is that we dont know how the curses work, or the number of cards that apply these curses, because there's another 4 more warlock cards left unrevealed.
It is implied that the curses work like rafaam's curse, in that you can dispel it by playing the card off your hand. If that is true, then the viability of this card goes down pretty hard. Because in what world will the opponent not dispel the curses within 2 turns? The ideal would be giving curse cards while building tempo, which this card provides, but judging from the only other revealed card Abyssal Wave, it is implied that this is not how team5 have designed the archetype to work.
So against aggro decks, they will simply shrug at the curse ticks and dispel it at a later point of the game, while control/combo decks will simply spend their mana to immediately get rid of it. Tempo decks will probably have enough board to discourage you from playing these curse cards. At the end, exactly what kind of deck is this, and what is it expecting to beat?
All this can change, and immediately win this card the lady liadrin award in the Sunken City expansion, by revealing either; a card with a massive battlecry enabled by curses, or a card that puts multiple curse cards into your opponent's hand. Until then, the curse cards looks bad, and will likely follow the same fate as the fel archetype team5 wanted us to play in Alterac.
New Mage Minion - Trench Surveyor
This should go nice with Azsharan Sweeper. It doesn't seem very good on curve, but still looks like decent support for Mech Mage.

No. One thing you can do is to start the Free trial 2 days before this reward ends so you claim this reward and next months rewards. Otherwise, no.
Immune Keyword
So basically Immune is like combined "Cannot be damaged" and "Stealth" on one target

I'm a little confused about the 'Immune' Keyword, as it reads "Can't be damaged".
However, I wasn't able to play Shadow Word: Death on my opponents Raid Boss Onyxia in a Duels game.
Yes, I still won...

Nice! Thanks for commenting as always. It’s going to be in an article with a full guide next Monday.

Really fun. I went 3-1 in ranked Platinum until I ran afoul of Even Highlander Reno Warlock. ;) Had a blast piloting it.
