I am so glad Librams will rotate before Sunken City will go live. I am not even sure this spell would fit in that archetype as of now, but just the idea of having to play around it makes my head ache.
exactly. I dunno the exact reason for that, but every stranger boons cause my run to softlock.
I have completed every single task for every single merc out there (except fot the newest ones, dont even have them yet). The strager then always gives me the option to pick one merc out of 3 random mercs and gives me 15 coins for it, saying "you have completed all the tasks for this merc". I thought my high progression caused me problems but that might not be the case.
Oh well there you go, the good payoff for Kotori Lightblade. Still need like 2 more holy spells tho.
Also very interesting that it itself is also a holy spell, which means if you have two of them in your hand you can play both as long as you can play one.
While it depends entirely on the amount of playable holy spells....man is this strong. Only bad thing is that it bricks your hand if you get it early but it becomes really nuts in the late game.
I mean...Mr. Smite is still in Standard and this can cost 0. Need I say more?
Maybe this could be an option for defensive decks too, where it could be very important to find your early game removal against aggro. Depending on the other avaible cards and if is aggro important enough that you an small minion to raise your chance for early removal.
Maybe (with an even smaller chance) this could help combo decks if there is a need for more tutor cards (even this is no "real tutor").
Anyways: I really like the card, because I think it has a "fair power level" and has a potential as a "solid filler card" in different decks. I will try this card for sure, becaused I liked Sightless Watcher when it came out.

I am not excited about more underpriced big minions - but I like the Dredge mechanic because I liked Sightless Watcher who was semi playable at the beginning of Demon Hunter.
At worst this will be draw three and summon a 3/3 with taunt, which is not that bad. I think on average you can at least get a 6/6 out of it which seems pretty solid to me.
Well more fuel for the Quest Warrior is the obvious point here. At least it's 7 mana and will be a lot slower than current quest warrior which is a good thing. Could even incentivize a control Quest Warrior where the quest is completed a lot later in the game. We've seen how that's turned out in the past though, but maybe Nellie here could turn that around with her 1 mana pirates you get to choose
I can see this work mostly in ramp druid but this could also work in midrange oder other kind of druid decks because it can give lots of value and a board refill ...
Hearthstone Patch 22.6 Brings Mercenaries Updates - New Event Soon, Seven New Mercenaries, Onyxia's Lair Bounties & More!
IT's definitely high progression..
If you have no tasks left the game justt freezes entirely and needs to be shut down
If you have less than 3 tasks available you can pick them but the run is frozen and needs to be retired.
IT sucks.

They only replace 30%. Why would they throw out King's when it's one of the most classic cards in the Paladin set.

New Paladin Spell - The Garden's Grace
If you can get The Coin
Mr. Smite + 2x The Garden's Grace + Faceless Manipulator (if still at core set) for a 32 otk dmg from hand.
Blizz said that they will reduce the otk viability, so i hope that they don't include faceless on the set.

New Neutral Minion - Sir Finley, Sea Guide
Yeah, this it what I wondered about: Is this not just a neutral Plot Twist on a stick?
A 1/3 for 1 mana is "ok" for an aggro deck with a chance to "correct" a bad hand.
Patches? What are you doing in my starting hand?! Get back in my deck! :D

Voyage to the Sunken City
lol, at this moment in time (19th Mar) Druid has gone full casino with 777 mana cards
New Warrior Minion - Nellie, the Great Thresher
Good fuel for slow Quest Warrior. Whether that's actually a deck that's gonna exist is a different question but it's support nevertheless.
I doubt it'S good enough as a 1-man win condition with Smite, but maybe Silence just isn't that common.

New Druid Spell - Miracle Growth
Well if ramp druid is going to be a thing this will be a staple in the deck ! Very strong for ramp but everything else im not sure!
