Big Spell MAge needs more proactive Big Spells. Dawngrasp is not the lategame win condition it needs. If anything you could buff it to always cast the highest cost spells or have the spells prioritize enemies.
Wildfire Mage needs a Fire tutor and I can guarantee it becomes competitive. 90% of the deck's problem is not being able to run spells outside of Wildfire. IF you give me the option to tutor a fire spell on turn 2 or 3 I can run Runic Orb, AI, Brain Freeze and whatnot to actually put together a functional deck.
It's part of the MMR rating adjustments we have covered a little while ago, and yes, it's far from perfect currently. I've had the same happen to me several times. Very frustrating. The system is keeping our internal MMR from season 1 in mind and not applying other factors correctly. Should you lose several times more than you win, you might still eventually start seeing the A.I. opponents again (as usual, better chance without a full team of lvl 30 Mercs). On the upside, you also now get a lot more rating for wins than previously so people manage to climb a lot higher than before.
First 2 ideas. I wanted Equilibrium to also do a little damage or a little healing but there wasn't enough space for that. Anyway, i do feel Kirin Tor Prodigy is better and cooler. Little neat effects that when stacked up after one of those classic mage-plays-15-cards-in-a-turn turns are the cherry on top for a wild display of magic.
=> that's the point of the change, making you spend more time playing the game in the hopes of getting some legendary coins. It's Blizzard we're talking about here
Everyone is playing Odd Questline Hunter in Wild, a stupidly oppressive deck, and they haven't done anything to curb its power? It's so boring and frustrating to play against and control decks autolose against it. Please do something, Blizzard!
Yeah, I tried farming Malfurion too but gave up after so many fruitless runs. Farming heroic boars felt so much better; at least with an all-legendary team I was guaranteed to get 10 coins of some legendary with minimal effort.
The bad taste still lingers so I might just stick to boars for a while longer, thanks Blizzard. It's not what the devs intended but they have their stingy money people to thank for that.
Edit: just realised that the change doesn't apply to Malfurion's Fallen Guardians heroic bounty run because it is not level 30 so you can feel "less bad" for grinding Malfurion coins, yay?
Also, don't be surprised if Bloodsail Deckhand doesn't show up in your search; as a card from the Core set, you got it for free, and is therefore ineligible for a refund.
I feel like Clumsy Courier's battlecry played spell counting as yours is one of the last pieces Big Spell Mage needs. In lieu of that, give Mage a Fel, Holy, Nature and a new Shadow spell in the upcoming expansion/mini-set. If Mage could have a spell played from every school and they are actually good, Dawngrasp would finally achieve the heights of an incredible hero card.
Heh, it's been awhile, apparently. Edited! Thanks for the catch.
Regards to your card, while I'm in love with the idea of a future-expansion Shadow Druid, it's difficult to reconcile pure hero damage with Druid. Effects closer to Webweave seem more fitting - maybe effects like poisonous, copying, resurrection, entangling/corrupting friendly/enemy units, cost increases for benefits, etc. Big ole board-fillin' nature-gone-bad stuff.
Yeah...it mostly came down to "what aura can I fit in the limited space I have?" The Shadow Combo is using two lines on its own, so that didn't leave much. I'll keep tinkerin'; my first concern is whether or not people would accept the Nightmare Shadow-Druid setup.
Thanks for givin' it a look :)
Edit: How's this? Still messing around with the card:
It gives you "infinite value", assuming you continuously spend the Mana to play it. If you can Shadow Combo, you actually gain copies of Nightmare Servant. The flavor is that the Nightmare cannot be truly killed, only contained. Might be garbage without Rush *shrugs*

I'm wondering if I can get away with making a card reliant on an unusual class+spell school combination:
The implication being that, in an Emerald Nightmare-based expansion, the Druid would receive more Shadow spells. They have Webweave, so it's not completely unprecedented.
But there was another big change they said NOTHING about: it used to be that if they couldn't find you an appropriate match in the Fighting Pit within a minute or so, they would pair you with a similarly-leveled AI (which was great, cuz you can beat the AI easily most of the time). That is no longer the case! Twice now I've had to wait over 4 minutes for a match, only to have my ass handed to me by a much more powerful band of mercs. I am PISSED.

I doubt it considering this was only a quick pre-holiday patch to not make Christmas be all about a combo meta but I'll go and check.
EDIT: nope, still broken.

They didn't change this, I just played a match against AI
Make sure you're under 7000 rating AND use low level mercs/low level abilities/unequip any gear.
